Main Characters:

Kim Taehyung:

A 28-year-old professor at Seoul International College.

He’s shy, stutters when nervous, and lacks confidence. His students constantly make fun of him, but he tries his best to maintain a professional attitude.

Though timid in nature, he harbors a genuine love for teaching and wants to gain his students' respect.

Jeon Jungkook:

A 22-year-old senior student who is secretly the mafia king of Seoul. On the surface, he's just another arrogant and cold student.

Unbeknownst to others, he’s running a massive underground criminal empire, but he hides it well under the guise of a typical aloof student.

Jungkook is highly intelligent and ruthless but is drawn to Taehyung's vulnerability.

Scene: Classroom, Seoul International College, Morning.

Kim Taehyung stood nervously in front of the large lecture hall, his hands trembling slightly as he adjusted his glasses. He knew what was coming, the mocking laughter, the sarcastic comments, but still, he willed himself to start the lesson. He stuttered as he tried to introduce the topic.

Taehyung: "T-Today, w-we’ll be c-covering advanced calculus. Please t-turn to page seventy-four in your textbooks."

The sound of shuffling papers filled the room, but so did the low whispers and quiet chuckles that never seemed to leave him alone. He could hear a group of students in the back snickering, no doubt preparing for another round of taunts.

"Here we go again," he thought, heart racing. He was used to it by now, but the sting never faded.

One voice cut through the murmurs louder than the rest.

Kai (a notorious student, smirking): "Professor Kim, are you sure you know what you’re doing? You’re stuttering like you forgot your own lesson."

The class erupted into laughter, and Taehyung’s face flushed. His throat felt dry as he forced himself to respond.

Taehyung: "P-Please, p-pay attention to the lesson. T-This is important material f-for your exams."

Before he could continue, the door to the lecture hall swung open with a loud bang. In walked Jeon Jungkook, late as usual, his black leather jacket draped over one shoulder, exuding a dark and imposing aura. His cold eyes scanned the room, and the once-lively students immediately quieted down.

Jungkook didn't say a word, but his mere presence was enough to silence the crowd. He walked to his usual seat near the back, his dark aura commanding respect. Even Kai, the class troublemaker, straightened in his seat, no longer smirking.

Jungkook leaned back in his chair, arms crossed, his gaze fixed on Taehyung, who seemed to shrink even more under his stare.

Jungkook (muttering): "Pathetic."

Taehyung flinched at the word, though it was barely audible. He couldn’t help but feel small under Jungkook’s cold gaze. Why did Jungkook always make him feel like this? Like he was insignificant?

Scene :- shifts to the Cafeteria, later that afternoon.

After class, Taehyung sat alone in the corner of the cafeteria, barely touching his lunch. His thoughts swirled with the same doubts and insecurities that plagued him daily. The students' laughter echoed in his mind, and Jungkook’s piercing stare left him feeling even more exposed.

Suddenly, a shadow fell over his table. He looked up, startled, to see Jungkook standing there, a tray of food in hand.

Jungkook: "Mind if I sit?"

It wasn't a question, more of a statement. Taehyung nodded, not trusting his voice to work without stuttering. Jungkook sat down, placing his tray on the table with a soft clatter.

For a few moments, neither of them spoke. Taehyung could feel the tension building, unsure of why Jungkook had decided to sit with him. Was he here to mock him like the others? Or was this some kind of power play?

Jungkook (in his usual cold tone): "Why do you let them walk all over you?"

The question caught Taehyung off guard, and he blinked in confusion.

Taehyung: "W-What do you mean?"

Jungkook sighed, as if Taehyung's naivety was exhausting.

Jungkook: "You let them mock you, disrespect you. It’s pathetic." He leaned in slightly, his dark eyes locking onto Taehyung's. "If you want people to respect you, you need to stand up for yourself."

Taehyung felt a lump form in his throat. Why was Jungkook, of all people, telling him this? The very student who radiated arrogance and indifference. He was the last person Taehyung would expect to hear advice from.

Taehyung (nervously, barely audible): "I-I t-try, b-but…"

Jungkook (cutting him off): "Trying isn’t enough. You need to take control. Or else…" He paused, his eyes narrowing. "You’ll always be a joke to them."

Taehyung’s heart sank. Was he really that much of a joke? He had always tried to be kind, patient, hoping that the students would eventually respect him. But maybe Jungkook was right. Maybe being kind wasn’t enough.

Before Taehyung could respond, Jungkook stood up, leaving his tray untouched.

Jungkook (in a low, ominous tone): "If you keep letting them treat you like this, don’t expect me to step in next time."

With that, Jungkook walked away, leaving Taehyung even more confused. What did he mean by 'next time'? Why would Jungkook ever step in? They barely knew each other, and yet... there was something in Jungkook’s eyes that hinted at more than just casual disdain.
