Taehyung arrived at the upscale cafe Lia had directed him to, his palms clammy and his heart racing. As he stepped inside, he quickly spotted Lia and her friends seated at a private table in the corner, laughing amongst themselves. Lia looked different from his vague memory of her from years ago; her plastic surgery had softened her features, making her almost unrecognizable, yet the cold, calculating look in her eyes was unmistakable.

Taking a deep breath, Taehyung approached the table. Lia’s eyes lit up as she saw him, and she put on a broad smile, gesturing for him to sit.

"Ah, Taehyung, it’s been too long," she purred, her voice dripping with a false warmth. “Sit, join us. Girls, this is Taehyung, my dear nephew’s… special someone.”

Taehyung gave a polite nod, forcing himself to sit. He felt the curious, predatory gazes of Lia's friends on him, assessing him with looks that made him uneasy. Trying to calm his nerves, he focused on keeping his expression neutral.

One of the friends, Mayara, leaned forward with a smirk. “So, Taehyung, I hear you’ve got quite the hold on Jungkook. Lucky girl, Lia! I’m surprised you’re so okay with your nephew… sharing company with someone.”

Lia chuckled, crossing her legs as she eyed Taehyung. “Oh, I wouldn’t say I’m okay with it,” she replied, her tone light yet laced with malice. “But Taehyung here is… interesting. I mean, he’s got a history, doesn’t he?”

Taehyung’s stomach twisted. He tried to keep his voice steady as he replied, “I’m not sure what you’re talking about.”

Mira, another one of Lia's friends, gave a low chuckle. “Oh, come on, Taehyung. You’re telling me you don’t remember a few girls from a few years back? Some… fun encounters?”

Taehyung’s heart sank, but he forced himself to keep his gaze steady. “I don’t know what you mean.”

Lia leaned in, her smile sharper. “Let’s not play games, Taehyung. I have some… precious memories saved from our college days. Remember that time you tried so hard to get away from us?” She pulled out her phone, flashing him the very same photo she’d sent as a threat. “I thought you’d like a reminder.”

Taehyung felt his hands clench under the table, his mind racing. He didn’t dare let his fear show, even as the weight of the past pressed down on him. He fought to keep his voice calm. “Why are you doing this? What do you want?”

“Simple,” Lia said, her smile widening. “I want you to stay in line. And don't be a good little boyfriend to Jungkook. And remember, Taehyung, I hold your secrets. Cross me, and I won’t hesitate to share everything with him… and everyone else.”

Mayara giggled, exchanging a look with the other women. “It would be quite the scandal, wouldn’t it? Poor Jungkook, finding out his little boyfriend has such a… colorful history. Not one but fucking four college girls when he is just highschool boy”

Taehyung swallowed hard, fighting back the panic that threatened to choke him. “I hav--en’t done anyt--hing to hur--t yo--u, Lia. It's not me yo--u all for--ce me.Just… lea--ve me an-d Ju--ng--ko---ok alone.”

Lia leaned back, her gaze icy. “That’s up to you. Remember, Taehyung, I’ll be watching. One misstep, and your past becomes everyone’s entertainment.”

With that, she and her friends laughed, the sound echoing coldly through the cafe as Taehyung sat there, trapped and terrified.

After leaving the cafe, Taehyung felt as though the world around him was closing in. Lia’s words haunted him, echoing over and over in his mind, fueling his deepest fears. The thought of Jungkook finding out about his past, of seeing disgust or anger in Jungkook’s eyes, terrified him beyond words.

The moment he reached the mansion, Taehyung locked himself in his room, sliding down the door as he hugged his knees tightly. He couldn’t shake the memory of Lia’s mocking voice: “Kook will leave you, Taehyung. He’ll hate you if he finds out you’re not as pure as he thought. He’ll be disgusted… he’ll see you as tainted.”

Taehyung shivered uncontrollably, clinging to the thought that Jungkook cared for him, but his mind kept spiraling. His chest tightened, and his breathing grew shallow, a wave of panic washing over him. He tried to remind himself that Jungkook loved him, that he’d shown it time and again, but Lia’s words felt like they were burning themselves into his heart, leaving him in a state of sheer terror.

As he rocked back and forth, his phone buzzed. It was a message from Jungkook, asking him if everything was okay and if he wanted to have dinner together later. Taehyung’s fingers hovered over the reply, but he found himself unable to type anything back. His hands were trembling too much, and the thought of seeing Jungkook, of facing him with this burden, was overwhelming.

“I’m so sorry, Jungkook…” Taehyung whispered to himself, tears filling his eyes. “I didn’t mean for any of this. I… I just…”

He didn’t sleep that night, his mind racing with fear and doubt. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw Lia’s cold smile, heard her voice taunting him. The idea of Jungkook finding out about his past, seeing him as broken, made Taehyung’s stomach turn. He couldn’t bear the thought of losing Jungkook, yet he was paralyzed by the fear that Jungkook would indeed leave him if he knew the truth.

The next morning, Taehyung could barely get out of bed, exhaustion and anxiety weighing him down. When Jungkook came by his room with a concerned look, Taehyung forced himself to smile, though it felt weak and unconvincing.

“You didn’t sleep, did you?” Jungkook asked gently, reaching out to touch his shoulder. “Tae, is something wrong? You can tell me anything, you know that.”

The kindness in Jungkook’s voice made Taehyung’s chest tighten painfully, and he quickly looked away, afraid his emotions might betray him. “I’m fine, Kook,” he replied, voice strained. “I… I just didn’t sleep well, that’s all.”

But Jungkook didn’t look convinced. He cupped Taehyung’s face, studying him with worry in his eyes. “If something’s bothering you, I want to know. Please, don’t shut me out, Tae.”

Taehyung’s heart pounded in his chest, guilt mixing with fear. He wanted nothing more than to tell Jungkook everything, to trust him, but Lia’s words had planted a seed of doubt too deeply. He forced another weak smile, placing his hand over Jungkook’s. “It’s nothing. I promise. Just… work stress.”

Reluctantly, Jungkook nodded, but he watched Taehyung with lingering concern. Taehyung knew Jungkook wasn’t fooled, but he was too afraid to reveal the truth. As Jungkook left the room, Taehyung felt a tear slip down his cheek. He whispered to himself, “Please… please don’t hate me if you ever find out.”
