Jungkook took a steady breath, the echoes of their screams bouncing off the basement walls. With each word they muttered—apologies, excuses, begging for mercy—his anger only deepened. He stared at Lia, who looked broken and desperate, her eyes wide with fear and pain.

“Did you ever think,” Jungkook started, his voice low and calm, “about how Taehyung felt while you and your friends tore him apart for your own sick enjoyment? Did it even cross your mind what kind of scars you’d leave behind?”

Lia, her voice shaky, whimpered, “Jungkook, we… we didn’t think it would… we never imagined—”

Jungkook grab Sharp knife and stap in Lia's hand and start to draging down side....Lia start to screaming "Nooo... Ple--ase lea--ve m-e"

“No,” he cut her off sharply, “you didn’t think at all.” His eyes shifted to the others, who sat in horror, unable to meet his gaze. “You saw him as someone you could use. And now you’ll face the weight of every one of those choices.”

He let his gaze linger on each of them for a long, heavy moment before he picked up a glass of water. This one saltwater, and he held it in his hand, staring at it as if contemplating.

“You should be thankful,” he finally said. “Because the pain you feel now? It’s temporary. Taehyung’s lived with this for years.”

He threw the water against the wall, shattering the glass, and their flinches echoed his shattered restraint. “You’re not worth his suffering,” he whispered harshly, taking a step back, the resolve in his gaze unwavering. “But you’ll remember this. You’ll remember the pain you inflicted on him every day of your life.”

Jungkook straightened up, turning to leave. But before he did, he looked back one last time, his voice cold and final. “If any of you come near Taehyung again… there won’t be a second warning.”

And with that, he left the basement, his heart pounding. He’d done what he could to avenge Taehyung’s pain, but nothing would erase the hurt Lia and her friends had caused. He just hoped that now, Taehyung could find some peace, knowing those who wronged him were no longer untouched by consequence.

As Jungkook left the basement, he paused by the door, casting a final look at Minho. His face was unreadable, but the message was clear.

"Make sure they remember this night," he instructed, his voice sharp yet controlled. "But don’t let them die. They need to live with what they've done. And just make sure that there visible body didn't show mark from little distance"

Minho nodded, understanding the weight of the command. Jungkook turned and made his way out of the basement, shutting the heavy door behind him. The screams and cries faded as he stepped into the cold night air, his focus shifting from vengeance to the person who mattered most: Taehyung.

As Jungkook drove home, his mind raced with thoughts of Taehyung. He knew this night had only scratched the surface of the pain Taehyung had endured. His heart ached at the thought of Taehyung feeling unworthy, feeling dirty, when he was anything but. Jungkook resolved to be there for him, to remind him every day that he was cherished beyond measure.

Arriving home, Jungkook quietly entered their shared space, hoping Taehyung was still asleep. But as he walked into the bedroom, he saw Taehyung sitting up, his face pale and eyes red from tears. Taehyung looked up, and Jungkook’s heart clenched at the sight of fresh hurt in his eyes.

“Tae…” Jungkook murmured, stepping closer.

Taehyung’s gaze fell, his hands trembling slightly. “Kook…” he whispered, his voice fragile. “I… I don’t know why you’d still want to be with someone like me.”

Jungkook moved to sit beside him, gently reaching out to take Taehyung’s hand. “Don’t say that, Tae. None of what happened was your fault. You’re the most important person in my life, and nothing will change that.”

Tears welled in Taehyung’s eyes as he looked up at Jungkook, seeing the sincerity in his expression. “But… I feel so… so broken.”

Jungkook held him close, wrapping him in a secure embrace. “You’re not broken, Tae. You’re stronger than anyone I know. And I’ll be here, every step of the way, until you believe that too.”

They sat in silence, the room filled with unspoken promises and the warmth of Jungkook’s unwavering love. In that moment, Jungkook knew he’d do whatever it took to help Taehyung heal and, one day, feel whole again.

Jungkook held Taehyung tightly, letting the silence stretch, knowing that Taehyung needed time to process his words. After a while, he gently pulled back, brushing a tear from Taehyung’s cheek with his thumb.

“Let’s take this one day at a time,” Jungkook said softly. “I know it’s hard. I know those memories don’t just disappear… but I’m here, Tae. I’ll always be here. Whenever you feel lost, you just reach for me, okay?”

Taehyung’s eyes were wet, but there was a glimmer of hope as he looked at Jungkook. He nodded slowly, feeling a little lighter with each of Jungkook’s reassurances.

Jungkook’s gaze softened further as he took Taehyung’s hands in his own. “Tae, I want you to tell me everything you’re feeling. No holding back, even if it’s hard to put into words.”

Taehyung hesitated, but he could see the genuine care in Jungkook’s eyes. Taking a deep, shuddering breath, he began, “It’s… it’s hard for me to feel like I deserve happiness… that I deserve you. I thought if I pushed those memories away, I’d be okay. But… they keep coming back, and I feel… tainted.”

Jungkook felt a pang in his chest, but he kept his expression steady. “Tae, your past doesn’t define you. I see you—who you are now, how kind, and loving, and strong you are. Nothing can take that away from you.”

Taehyung took in his words, feeling warmth replace the chill of his memories. “Thank you, Kook,” he whispered, his voice barely audible. “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

Jungkook leaned in, placing a soft kiss on Taehyung’s forehead. “You’ll never have to find out,” he promised. “From here on out, we’re a team. We face everything together.”

Taehyung’s hands tightened around Jungkook’s, and for the first time in a long time, he felt a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, he could move forward.
