As soon as they got back to  their bedroom, Taehyung couldn’t hold it together anymore. The fear, the memories, everything hit him all at once again. He dropped to his knees, his body trembling uncontrollably, his hands covering his face as he sobbed. Jungkook knelt down beside him, heart aching at the sight of Taehyung so broken and vulnerable.

“Please… Kook, don’t leave me,” Taehyung choked out, his voice shaking as he clung desperately to Jungkook’s arm. “Don’t hate me… I… I’ll die if you hate me or… or leave me. Please… please, don’t go.”

Jungkook’s face softened, his heart breaking for Taehyung. He reached out, pulling Taehyung into his arms. “I’m not leaving you, Tae. I would never leave you. I’m right here. I promise.”

Taehyung’s hands clutched Jungkook’s shirt, his grip tight, like he feared Jungkook might vanish if he let go. “If you… if you want, you can kill me yourself,” he whispered, his voice barely above a whisper. “Or… or make me your slave. I’ll do anything… anything you say, just… just don’t leave me, Kook. I… I love you. I can’t live without you. I’ll die if you go…”

Jungkook felt his own eyes sting with tears as he held Taehyung closer, his voice soft but firm. “Tae, listen to me. I would never do that to you. I’m here because I love you. You mean everything to me, Tae. No one could ever make me hate you.”

Taehyung buried his face in Jungkook’s shoulder, his breathing still uneven. “I… I love you, Kook… I love you so much. I just… I’m so scared. They made me feel… like nothing.”

Jungkook gently stroked Taehyung’s hair, pressing a soft kiss to the top of his head. “They don’t get to define you, Tae. You’re more than what they did. And I’ll be here every step of the way. You’re not alone, okay? I’ve got you.”

Taehyung’s sobs gradually quieted, his grip on Jungkook never loosening as he held on, grounding himself in the warmth and safety he found only in Jungkook’s arms.

Jungkook continued murmuring gentle reassurances, his voice a steady anchor. “No one’s ever going to hurt you again, Tae. Not as long as I’m here. I’m not going anywhere.”

Once Taehyung had finally calmed down in Jungkook's arms, Jungkook held him close and gently asked, "Tae, can you... can you tell me what happened? I want to understand. I'm here for you, no matter what, okay? I promise."

Taehyung hesitated, his eyes avoiding Jungkook's as he felt the shame and fear rise up again. But Jungkook's gentle voice, the warmth in his gaze, and the steady reassurance in his embrace made Taehyung feel safe enough to open up. Taking a deep, shaky breath, he began.

"It... it happened when I was in high school," Taehyung started, his voice barely a whisper. "I was fourteen, and... I wasn't very strong back then. There were these college girls, a group of them. They seemed so much older, and... and they were always around, always staring, and I never knew why."

Jungkook's hand continued rubbing soothing circles on Taehyung's back, encouraging him to continue.

"One day, I... I was walking home, and they approached me. I thought maybe they needed help or something... but then they started surrounding me, saying things I didn't understand at first," Taehyung's voice faltered, but Jungkook gently encouraged him to keep going.
