KARA POV

Y/N and I were lounging on his couch, channel surfing in search of something entertaining. The programs flashed by, and with it, audio from the show or commercial, currently shown in the channel. Seeing the opportunity for a game like he always does, Y/N tried to switch between channels just so that different people would build up an entire sentence.

The rapid flipping of channels began, each snippet of speech piecing together an absurdly humorous conversation. The documentary unfolded, detailing Batman's encounters with these peculiar adversaries. As the tension mounted in the narrative, I noticed Y/N leaning forward, completely engrossed in the story. Y/N's grin widened as he concentrated, determined to create the most nonsensical yet coherent string of sentences. I joined in, laughing as we crafted sentences that made absolutely no sense but sounded oddly seamless. It was a silly game, but it was these simple moments that made time with Y/N so special.

The atmosphere in Y/N's living room crackled with the excitement of our game. Channel after channel flipped, voices merging into a nonsensical symphony. "Wait, wait, go back, that guy was talking about bananas and spaceships," I exclaimed between giggles, pointing at the TV.

Y/N laughed, his eyes fixed on the remote control. "Got it!" He clicked back a few channels rhythmically and started it all over again, and indeed, a man's voice was passionately discussing the correlation between bananas and intergalactic travel. "You see... KZZZ... it's all about... KZZZ... the potassium... KZZZ... propulsion," the man exclaimed, his enthusiasm infectious.

I leaned closer to Y/N, our shoulders brushing as we both erupted in laughter. The absurdity of the moment amplified by our shared amusement. "This is brilliant. I've never seen such a coordinated dialogue between channels," I said, wiping away tears of laughter.

Our game eventually slowed as Y/N settled on the documentary. The narrator's voice filled the room, recounting the escapades of Gotham's infamous villains. "Old Gotham, domain of the mentally..." The voice droned on, captivating Y/N's attention.

"Can you imagine facing off against someone named 'Killer Moth'?" I chuckled, sinking deeper into the couch.

Y/N shook his head, his eyes glued to the screen. "Seriously, that's like trying to be menacing as 'Evil Bunny.' It just doesn't strike fear into anyone."

Captivated by the moment, I inched closer to him, the documentary's intensity reflecting in his widened eyes. Just as I felt the impulse to lean in, a scene featuring Batman's clash with Killer Moth had Y/N's undivided attention. The tension in the room was palpable, the glow of the television casting fleeting shadows across Y/N's face. Heart pounding, I scooted closer, feeling the warmth radiating from his body. His focus on the screen was unwavering, engrossed in the caped crusader's battle.

As the narrator's voice narrated Batman's relentless pursuit, I could almost feel the adrenaline coursing through Y/N. Every muscle in my body tensed with the anticipation of what might happen next. It was as if time had slowed, and in that moment, the air crackled with an unspoken energy.

I summoned all the courage within me, inching closer until our sides almost touched. The faint scent of his cologne lingered in the air, sending a flurry of emotions through me. Just a little more, and I would close the gap between us, a moment that seemed suspended in time, almost as if the universe itself held its breath.

But before I could make the final move, a knock disrupted the charged atmosphere, jolting Y/N out of the captivating scene.

He glanced at the door, breaking the spell cast by the documentary. "I wonder who that could be," Y/N said, rising from the couch.
