Ch.13 - Super-Podcast Guest

Kara leaned her head on Y/N's shoulder as the two watched TV once again... On a Saturday afternoon while still in her Supergirl uniform upon coming back from patrolling Smallville this morning.

Her smile becoming wide when the news just popped up of herself once again, saving lives in Smallville by busting up more criminals.

"Heh, you're on a roll, SG, good job" Y/N complimented cheerfully, smiling as the news reporter praised the Girl of Steel on her efforts.

Kara slightly turned her head toward him with a confused look the next. "SG?" the girl asked, making the boy chuckle at her naïve question.

"Short for Supergirl" he smiled at the girl, his eyes falling on her now as the Kryptonian girl giggled.

"That's cute" remarked the girl. "I love that actually, thanks Cowboy" her smile turned bright, scooting up into him further to feel a sense of comfort.

"No problem, Angel" he smirked, softly speaking out the nickname for her as the pair happily smiled.

The boy felt a little rather cold earlier when he came to visit Kara after finishing up with his dad's farm earlier today, and Kara thought it was a good idea to cuddle up with him on the couch. He felt his face heating up a little as Kara's hand unconsciously rested on his upper thigh as her attention was focused on the TV.

He looked back at her a few times before chuckling lightly after a few minutes, gaining her attention.

"What?" she asked, still naïve.

"Your hand..." he softly spoke with a growing smirk.

The girl cocked an eyebrow before realizing where her hand was, a flush of red went up her cheeks as her heart began pounding more and more rapidly at the situation, she put herself in without realizing sooner.

"O-Oh! Uh..." her face turned red out of awkwardness, she felt stupid not realizing what she just did, if her hand was any closer to the young man's parts than she realized, she'd feel embarrassed and out of the door by now. "S-Sorry, I didn't mean to-"

"It's okay" the boy smiled, taking her hand in his as he squeezed it gently. "I know you didn't mean to do that, if you want? You can keep your hand on my thigh" he suggested in a low tone.

The Maiden's eyes slightly widened before a small cute smile creeped up on her lips, her eyes blinked slowly as her face's color turned back to normal slightly.

'Is this a dream?' Kara said to herself within her mind of things, she couldn't believe what was happening right now... 'Could this be my chance? Ugh, no! I didn't think of a way to tell him yet!' her mind shouted as she stared into her best friend's E/C eyes.

'Hmm, this a staring contest?' Y/N thought of a funny thing to say at the situation he was in with Kara. "This a staring contest? Sure looks like you're gonna be winning" he chuckled loudly under his breath.

Kara snapped out of her thoughts before sighing softly. "Y/N... Can I tell you something?" the Girl of Steel asked politely, blinking once again after awkwardly staring into his eyes.

"Yeah, sure. What's on the mind of the Girl of Steel today?" he joked, earning a soft laugh from Kara.

"I..." she began, stopping herself from laughing with a light chuckle. "I've been meaning to tell you something that I've been... Thinking upon along with feeling it" she got off of him and sat up completely, twiddling at her cape from behind.

"Okay? Go on" he sounded interested, prompting her to go on with whatever she was about to tell him.

In Kara's thoughts, she thought back to Leslie's advice about asking out someone, sure Kara's done it back on Krypton, but this time? This was different. This was a different time.
