Ch.14 - Additional Super in the Family

Y/N's eyes began to open slowly before he let out a big yawn upon waking up, extending his legs out as if he was stretching them before yawning again, his vision beginning to get clearer as a few minutes would pass by.

He found himself still on the couch with a weight holding him down and covered by a yellow outlined, red cape with the signature House of El shield that two well known Kryptonians wear on their outfits.

A streak of blonde hair was on his cheek, which felt ticklish, the hair belonged to Kara who seemed to be peacefully sleeping on him while cuddling into him while she still wore her blue t-shirt with her House of El sigil and red short, shorts

It's when he realized he must've passed out from being tired, the duo were watching a movie on the TV in the living room, it was either he passed out first, or she did... Though that would be pretty rare if it was her first.

"Good morning" he heard a soft spoken voice from Kara, who turned her head that laid on his chest to look at him, hearing his calm heartbeat up close. The duo were in the L/N Household as of right now.

"Good... Morning?" he sounded a little baffled but... Went along with it. "Did I pass out last night?" he then asked.

"I think my story might have put you to sleep... The one about Krypton's historic legends and mythical creatures" she answered, her eyes glistening at him. "You seemed very peaceful in your sleep" she complimented with a cute smile.

"Which gave you the idea to sleep and cuddle with me on the couch?" he interrogated, if he could cross his arms? He would, but not with a Kryptonian on top of him right now.

Kara began to feel her face heat up a little at this, before she broke out a big smile and a little giggle. "M-Maybe" she looked away for a moment, cheeks flushing with red. "I just... Thought you wanted a... Cuddle... Buddy".

The boy chuckled at the mess on her face, he had to admit that it was adorable. "God, you're adorable" he smiled.

"Perhaps" she smiled back at him, before getting off of him to sit up beside him, stretching and yawning next before he did the same afterwards.

The two giggled at each other, Y/N didn't even mean to copy her. "Haha... Great minds, think alike I suppose?" the boy awkwardly shrugged.

Kara nodded at this and kept her smile bright as she thought of what to do today already.

"Well, since I'm up, gonna get a shower" the boy stretched his arms again before standing up, taking the cape that was wrapped around the two and draped it over Kara's shoulders.

"Hey, Cowboy" Kara perked her head up toward him after the kind gesture from him.

"Yes, SG?" Y/N looked at her.

"Wanna... Go downtown today? Maybe get some ice cream? Hopefully there's no crime today for us to hangout" she asked him, he had a thoughtful expression before smiling at her.

"You already know the answer to that, my hero. Would love to get ice cream with you today" he loved the idea, making the Girl of Tomorrow, happy. "I'll get showered first, brush my teeth, get breakfast... Now that I'm thinking about it? I might cook up some left over bacon in the fridge that my dad left... Enough for us both" he gave the hint to her, making her ears perk up at the hint.

"Mmm... Yummy" she licked her lips before giggling away. "I'll need to head back to Lana's first while you shower and that, get a new pair of clothes on... And shower probably" she added.

"Cool, I'll see you back here soon" he nodded before heading out the living room.

"Oh uh... Y/N" Kara quickly called out, forcing him to come back to her lane of sight.
