When A Part of You Family is Missing

Chapter Three Back to my Prison

Mary

I am feeling very overwhelmed. So I wave bye to the kids. Then I ran into the woods. I never stopped running until I was in my own back yard. I look around and see no one around. So I quickly climb up the trellis and back into my window. Luckily I don't fall this time around. I walk over to my bed and pass out due to pain and exhaustion.

I must have slept all the way to the next morning. I was more tired then I thought. I start to think if I want to go back to the diner. They were really nice, plus they gave me some food. But I don't want them getting mad at me for bothering them again. So I decided I'm going to take the other trail instead of the one I did yesterday. This time I wait until around six am to make my escape. I laugh in my head from the sound of it. This time I make it down and I don't fall like I did yesterday. I quickly make my new trek to the woods. I take a different path. I must of walked for about 30 minutes when I finally see a clearing. Which I'm hoping there is a restroom close by because I really have to pee. When I exit the woods I see a busy highway. The cars are going to fast for me to cross. So I turn left after about 15 minutes I see a coffee shop up ahead. I quickly run into the shop when I see a particular sight. In front of me I see a man with two different color eyes. When he asks me what I want. I quickly show him by doing a I have to pee dance. He gives a small laugh and points to a door in back. After I am done I quickly go to run out the door. But I run into a nice lady. The nice lady looks at me like she is trying to figure out if she knows me. I then turn and go out the door. I then see a the man I met yesterday I think his name was Luke getting out of a car. When he notices me, he does a double take and starts to walk over to me. I then take that time to run like I'm on fire. Don't get me wrong I am fast. But this Luke guy is very good at trying to catch me. As I am running I fall into a small ditch. I stay there until I don't see any signs of Luke. I wait a few hours. Then I leave the little safe haven I found. To make my painful journey twords home.

Sang

Luke and I decided to drop off some deserts from his bakery to Marcs coffee house. As I am walking through the door a small young girl accidentally ran into me. When I grab her so she does not fall. I get a weird feeling go through me. I then have a gut feeling that I know her. But as soon as I let her go, she takes off twords the woods. I also see that my husband Luke is chasing the young child. I then ask Marc if he knows the little girl. When he tells me that she just needed to use the bathroom. She used it then ran out the door. After about thirty minutes Luke comes back without the little angel. When I asked him why he was scarring and chasing the girl. He told me that was the young girl from the diner yesterday. That dr Roberts wants us to bring in. When I tell my husbands that I know in my heart. That this child we are supposed to save.

Mary

When I get home again i pass out. I am woken up due to my mother beating me again. She is drunk as a skunk. She is slurring her hateful words. I don't know why she hates me. She beats me so bad I black out from it. When I come too I notice I have blood under me. Plus I have blood from the beating I received on my clothes. I decide to not wait until the next day. I noticed it is 6pm. So I very slowly crawl down the trellis. The cast must of fell off during the beating. I decide to go twords the diner. I know in my heart that I will get help that I need. What I did not know was the diner was closed for a family get together. As I go to turn around, all of a sudden blackness takes over me.

Sean

Every Thursday we shut the diner down early to have a family meal with uncle and a few other people. Most of us are here except for Gabe and Victor. We are all sitting down when Victor runs in and screams Sean now. Then runs out the door. I quickly run out after him. When I do I get the shock of my life. The little girl that my family has been searching for is out cold on the sidewalk. She has blood all over her clothes. And she is out cold. I tell Gabe to tell Dr Roberts that I need him now. Plus I tell him to get Luke, since she kind of knows him. About a minute later they both run through the door. I guess the rest of the family decided to come out now. When our oldest son Michael sees the girl. He runs to her telling her she will be fine. Telling her to open her pretty eyes. He is crying so hard seeing this little girl like this. When he sees her I see he is starting to blame himself. That he let her get away. Sang quickly grabs Michael and drags him away. He is kicking and screaming to let him be by her. As she is taking him away. The little girl starts to thrash badly. Michael gets out of Sangs arms and runs back to this poor sweet girl. When he holds her hand her thrashing stops. Wow that is strange. I see Dr Roberts come to the same conclusion that I have come too. That only close siblings are able to have that effect. About five minutes later an ambulance pulls up. And we load her up quickly. With me and Michael going with her. The others will meet us when they get there.

I know in my heart that this poor girl has had a very rough childhood. I want to find out who her parents are. Then sic a few of my brothers on to them. I know in my heart that this young child would be dead if we did not find her when we did. When we get to the hospital we run all the tests we can. Especially to find out if her parents DNA is in our system. We then have to rush her into surgery to stop the internal bleeding in her stomach. As we worked on this young child, we lost her heartbeat three times. But after many hours of surgery we finally was able to make her stable. Now to see if or when she wakes up. That's when  Kotas mom runs up to me. She grabs me and takes me into Dr Roberts office. She then hands me the DNA report. I see she has type rh negative blood. Then I look down to see if we can find out the parents of this little Jane Doe. What I see shocks me. I quickly redline Owen to have my brother's and Sang to meet in our academy conference room. I then ask Erica to sit with the little angel. I also put the Anderson Team to watch over her. Now to shock my family.

When I get to the room. I walk to the front of the room. I have tears in my eyes. I am so choked up inside. That Sang runs up to comfort me, along with Owen. I finally calm down enough to talk to my family.

Please don't cut me off before I finish talking. This is very hard to explain about this poor child. I then tell them that she has a major concussion, she has 4 fractured ribs. Her right arm is broken in two places. She had internal bleeding due to being kicked or hit multiple times in the stomach. One eye is so bruised that it is sealed shut. She also has many bruises and cuts over most of her body. I then stop to tell them that she is stable. Plus we found out her name. Plus who her parents are. This makes me breakdown even harder. Again after I calm down. Luke asks what her name is. We have been calling her little bit because she is so tiny. I then tell him her name is Melody. This hits hard because we all lost are Melody. While this girls parents are beating their child. We have grieved ours. North and Raven punch the wall from the anger they feel inside. Raven asks for the girls parents so he can teach a lesson too. I can't get the words out of my mouth. That's when Owen grabs the paper from me. He is shocked to the core. Then Axel takes the paper and says we don't know this child. Why does it say Melody blackbourne. Then he probably sees the two names we all know. The mother is our Wife Sang. Her father is our brother Raven.

Sang

When I hear what Axel says I run out of the room. I need to find my sweet angle. When I get to a door. I see the Anderson team standing at the door. Then I noticed Erica is holding Melody's hand while Lilly Anderson is holding her other hand. When they see me Lilly steps away. So I can get to my baby. I missed ten years of her life. Oh my God what has she been through. It hurts me to look at her like this. I want to find the people who hurt our baby girl. Michaels twin sister. The next people in the room is all my husbands. Erica let's her hand go. So Raven walks over to our baby girl. He grabs her hands crying that he is so sorry. That she will never go back to her hell hole ever again. By now all my husbands have a hand on a part of her leg, arm, head. Just so they can try and give her peace and comfort. The next person through the door is Michael. When he heard his father's call the girl Melody. He knows in his heart it is his twin sister. Who is supposed to be dead. Then Michael asks us if she is Melody. Why can't she speak. This breaks us even more. We just have to pray that she wakes up. I know I'm not leaving our daughter here alone. She will never feel alone again. After many hours I know we can't keep the kids here any longer. So we all decided that Raven and I will stay with her. Then my husband's would meet up with us tomorrow morning. As they are all leaving Michael will not leave his sister. So we help him lay next to her. By being careful of the wires. And he goes to sleep holding his twin for the first time in over ten years.
