as the days went on, the holiday season was slowly approaching. the smell of pine cones, the christmas decorations that illuminated the barcelona streets.
fiorella and joão have been doing good; correction, really great.
after fiorella's breakdown, joão promised her that he will always be there for her. and he wouldn't let that man even look in her direction.
the hatred he had for this man he didn't even know was something very strong; something that joão would never experience.
he has his moments when he's hotheaded, but off the pitch; he usually doesn't get this aggravated to something or someone.
but oh man, aggravated was an understatement. he believe fiorella didn't deserve any hate in the world. she treats everyone in the way she would want to be treated.
in pure and honest actions and emotions she gives out.
they went down to barca's annual christmas dinner, its like their own family gathering.
joão was waiting for fiorella to text him, since he would be the one taking them to the place.

as i parked in the driveway of her apartment complex, i see her walking out.
shes wearing an off white knee length dress, fitting her body perfectly. her hair looking curly and defined; bouncing with every step she takes. i'll always prefer her hair curly than straight.
i walk out of the car, engulfing her in a hug. smelling her vanilla perfume hitting me in the face.
"you look beautiful, like always"
"you don't look too bad either" she smiles, showing of her pearly whites.
when we get in the car, i hand her the aux while we head to the place.
"tell me why estrella has been ignoring my messages since i came back from italy" fiorella says, in a kind of annoyed tone.
"why would she ever do that amor? maybe she has a modeling thingy to do." i tell her, not trying to let her overthink. i've catched on that overthinking is a very bad habit of hers.
"yeah, but she stills texts pedri and gavi like nothing happens, and in the group chat earlier this morning. she didn't reply to any my messages, only to freaking pedri's." she signs while looking outside the car window.
i feel horrible for her, she hasn't really opened up to me about how estrella has been treating her. its messed up that she's doing to fiorella.
"fifi, maybe the best thing you can do is to talk to her. communicating can help clear up anything misconceptions she has. it's all up to you though, i hate seeing you like this amor." i say while holding onto her hand that's on the console.
