The celebration was in full swing. Rum laughed as the parade women danced around him, playfully tossing accessories such as bracelets, hats, and sunglasses into the cheering crowd. The vibrant music echoed through the streets, fireworks exploded above, and people sang and cheered from balconies and rooftops. At the front of the parade, King Mercer stood on his majestic prop castle, waving regally to his people. His cybernetic eye scanned the jubilant crowd, analyzing every detail of the festivities. However, a flicker of disturbance caught his eye as he glanced upward into the sky. His smile faded as the clouds above shifted unnaturally, darkened, and stirred with an unsettling energy.

Mercer narrowed his gaze, his mechanical eye focusing intently on the anomaly above. Before he could react, the sky broke apart, and from the ominous clouds descended massive alien ships, their sleek designs glowing ominously in the night. For a split second, there was silence as everyone stared in confusion and awe. Then, chaos erupted.

The ships deployed instantly, raining down a devastating barrage of fire onto the city. Explosions tore through the streets, buildings crumbled, and fire and debris filled the air. The joyous music turned to screams of terror as the parade halted abruptly, people scattering in all directions, desperate to flee from the sudden attack. Fireworks were replaced by deadly energy blasts, and the once vibrant sky was filled with smoke and destruction. Rum's heart dropped as the world around him collapsed into chaos. The parade platform trembled beneath him as explosions went off nearby, sending chunks of debris flying into the crowd. He quickly grabbed one of the parade women and pulled her to safety as a blast narrowly missed them. His mind raced, he had been celebrating moments ago, but now he found himself thrown back into a fight for survival.

Rum: What the hell is going on? Who're we being attacked from?

King Mercer, still standing on his prop castle, barked orders to his soldiers as they rushed to his side. His once regal demeanor shifted into that of a battle-hardened leader. The alien warrior in black armor, now descending from the clouds, loomed closer, his glowing red eyes fixated on Rum.

The warrior in black armor hovered menacingly in the sky, looking down upon the chaos he had unleashed with a cruel smirk. He raised his wrist to his mouth and spoke into his communicator.

Alien Warrior: Deploy now, comrades. The city is yours. Have your fun.

At his command, hordes of alien warriors, each clad in black armor or dark, flowing clothing, poured from the ships like a plague descending upon the city. They were armed to the teeth with advanced weaponry: sleek blasters crackling with energy, glowing laser swords capable of cutting through anything, and sinister devices unknown to human technology. These alien soldiers wasted no time as they descended rapidly, spreading throughout Orlean like a wave of death. The once-celebratory streets erupted into full-blown pandemonium as the aliens began firing indiscriminately into the crowd, cutting down anyone in their path.

King Mercer stood tall atop his platform, the celebratory atmosphere around him long forgotten as the alien invaders swarmed the city. His eyes narrowed as his wrist blades extended with a sharp, metallic hiss, glowing faintly with energy. He quickly turned to his soldiers, who were already mobilizing, their faces hard and determined. The festive mood had shifted entirely; now, it was time for battle.

King Mercer: Hold the line!

His soldiers, many of them highly trained and fiercely loyal rallied around him, their armor gleaming under the light of the alien ships. Heavy artillery was brought forth, tanks and missile launchers wheeled into position as the city's defenses roared to life. Soldiers equipped with laser rifles and heavy gauntlets formed ranks, firing back at the descending aliens with fierce precision. From every corner of the city, missiles shot into the sky, leaving trails of smoke and flame before detonating among the alien ships. Anti-aircraft artillery rumbled as it tore through the night, lighting up the clouds with flashes of explosions. But despite the human resistance, the alien forces were relentless, their superior technology giving them a deadly edge.
