The next night, the siblings sat in their cozy kitchen, eating the perfectly cooked fish that Rum had caught earlier in the day. Pillo had been craving fish, and Rum, never one to let his sister down, had gone out to the nearby lake and returned with a great catch. Now, they were happily digging into their meal, the savory aroma filling the room.

As they laughed and ate, the sound of the front door unlocking caught their attention. The siblings paused, glancing at each other before turning their gaze toward the door. It swung open, and in stepped their parents, looking travel-worn but relieved to be back home. Their eyes lit up at the sight of their children sitting together, safe and sound, with a warm meal on the table.

Yapa: Hey, welcome back.

Rum and Pillo waved them in with a smile on their faces. Their parents looked around the house, taking in the comforting smells of cooked fish and herbs wafting from the kitchen. Their mother's nose twitched as she inhaled deeply, and their father chuckled.

Lite: I must say, that smells amazing. Did you save any for us?

Yapa: Yeah, we've got a couple more fish left. Plenty for you both.

He pointed over to the stove, where a couple of golden-brown fillets sat on a pan, still warm and ready. Their father sighed in contentment as he took off his coat and sat down at the table.

Adonis: Perfect timing. My stomach's been growling nonstop.

Lite: It feels good to be back. You three hold down the fort well while we were gone?

Rum and Pillo exchanged a quick look, a silent acknowledgment of all the chaos that had gone down with Eugene and his entourage. But they decided not to spoil the mood with those details right now.

Pillo: Everything went smoothly. No trouble at all.

Their father nodded approvingly, as Yapa served up the remaining fillets for them. The siblings settled back into their chairs, watching their parents dig into the meal they had prepared. The evening passed with easy conversation, the warmth of the meal, and the familiar sounds of family laughter filling the room.

As the weeks passed, life at the farm settled back into its usual rhythm. The ordeal with Eugene was behind them, and the family returned to their routines as if nothing had ever disrupted their peace. Their parents busied themselves running the shop, while the siblings continued their work on the farm. The days were filled with the familiar sights and sounds of hard work: the clatter of tools, the smell of freshly tilled soil, and the distant mooing of the cows in the pasture.

One late morning, Rum glanced across the field and spotted his brother Yapa standing by the fence, engaged in an animated conversation. Yapa's face lit up with that familiar goofy grin, the one he reserved only for his longtime girlfriend, Lilling.

She had come by to visit, and the two were clearly enjoying each other's company, laughing and chatting as if they hadn't a care in the world. Rum smirked to himself, rolling his eyes good-naturedly. Those two had been together for four years now, and he knew better than to interrupt them when they got into their little bubble.
