Rum's transformation had unleashed a force so powerful that even the most hardened soldiers and alien warriors trembled at the sight of him. His eyes, devoid of any trace of humanity, glowed with a chaotic energy that pulsed through the streets like a living storm. The ground beneath his feet cracked with every step he took, and the air around him vibrated with a palpable, oppressive pressure that sent shockwaves through the battlefield. The alien warriors, once fearless and relentless in their assault, found themselves recoiling as Rum let out another deafening roar, the sheer force of his voice blasting them away like leaves caught in a hurricane. Houses, market stalls, and even soldiers were thrown back, some crashing into the remnants of buildings, others tumbling through the air like ragdolls. The immense pressure radiating from Rum made it nearly impossible for anyone to stand their ground.
King Mercer, who had been locked in battle with Dra'zahn, turned his gaze toward Rum, his cybernetic eye scanning the boy in disbelief. He had seen many powerful warriors in his lifetime, but never had he witnessed such raw, uncontrollable force. For a brief moment, Mercer considered intervening, but something in Rum's energy made him hesitate. This was not a force to be reckoned with lightly. Dra'zahn, too, was taken aback. The arrogant smirk that had been plastered on his face moments ago had vanished, replaced by a look of genuine concern. He watched as Rum tore through his warriors with terrifying ease, each strike obliterating them in a single blow. Alien bodies fallen under the onslaught, their armor and weapons crumpling like paper. But the horror didn't stop there.
Rum (Awakening): HROAAA!
Rum had become a whirlwind of destruction, his movements erratic and fueled by unbridled rage. His fists and feet moved faster than the eye could track, his strikes causing shockwaves that sent anyone near him flying into walls or crashing to the ground. He was no longer discerning between friend or foe, anything that crossed his path was met with violent, devastating force.
King Mercer: Rum, stop this at once!
He tried shouting at him, but his voice was lost in the cacophony of chaos that surrounded the boy. Rum could hear nothing but the roar of his own blood in his ears, his mind consumed by grief and fury, lost in a sea of bloodlust. With a bloodcurdling scream, Rum unleashed another wave of energy, sending a group of alien warriors and Orlean soldiers alike flying through the air. Their bodies crumpled as they hit the ground, lifeless and broken. The line between friend and enemy had blurred completely for him. He was chaos incarnate, a force of nature that could not be contained or reasoned with.
King Mercer: Rum!
King Mercer reached him, trying to pull him back from the edge of his madness by gripping his arm. But the moment Mercer made contact, Rum's eyes locked onto him, and for a split second, there was nothing but cold, unyielding rage in them. Rum's hand shot out, striking Mercer with a backhand that sent the king hurtling into a nearby building, his armor sparking as he crashed through the wall.
Dra'zahn, now watching from above, narrowed his eyes. He realized now that this boy, this seemingly insignificant farmhand, had become a weapon of untold power-- one that could be useful, but only if he could be controlled. A wicked grin spread across Dra'zahn's face as he descended, observing the destruction Rum had wrought with twisted fascination.
Dra'zahn: This is quite the display of power. Absolutely astonishing.
Rum's rampage showed no signs of stopping. He moved through the city like a force of nature, obliterating everything in his path. His body was a blur of motion, each strike accompanied by an explosion of energy that ripped apart buildings, streets, and lives. The alien warriors, now fearing for their very existence, began to retreat, but there was no escaping Rum's wrath.
