—Maisie's POV—

"In my race, the elderly are the most strongest among us all. Your grandmother actually managed to hit my head with a frying pan."

A giggle was about to burst from me. I shoved it all the way down. I will not laugh with the murderer of my grandparents. Prefect offered me his hand while I lifted my head defiantly. Without looking back I grasp it and we were engulfed by black smoke, white sparks zipped across the darkness.

Soon the shadows dispersed and we were standing all alone in a huge room. It looks like a laboratory, similar to the Cameramen's but instead of white its pale yellow. Pieces of strange equipment were strewn around on lab tables and the tiled white floor. Prefect frowned and observed the entire area.

"I think we came too early..." He muttered. Then he grabbed my arm and towed me towards some metal double doors. Instead of opening the keypad he just kicked down the sliding doors. The doors were sent sliding with a screech of metal on the floor. Behind the doors was a long corridor, sealed metal doors lined the sides. Shaded lamps flickers, casting shadows across the hallway. Eerie moans and cries came from behind those doors.... They're prison cells. I realised, peering into one room. It was pretty dark, something inside shifted and launched itself at me.

"AH!" I smashed into Prefect's side, surprisingly he didn't even moved.

"The cells are pretty annoyingly secure." He simply said like the prisoner didn't even bother him.  Inside the creature slithered towards the back of its cell. "Move."

With a hard shove, I stumbled forward. I glared back at his bored face and continued to walk. With attempt I try to ignore the wails and cries of the prisoners as they tried to reach for me behind their doors, maybe that's why they don't use bars. Prefect stalked behind me, his blazing eyes hopping from one cell to the next. Hmm. He looks like he was looking for someone. Occasionally he would peep into one cell and obtain a jump-scare which didn't even bother him one bit. Curiosity took control.

"Who or what are you looking for?" I asked, tilting my head at Prefect.

He did a dismissive eye-roll and took out another cigarette. He then disposed the old one on the floor and lit the new one...with a flamethrower. Wait where did he get it? It was attached to his left arm, the blade wasn't there anymore.

"Bro." I just watched at the blue-hot flames lit it up. Prefect sighed in relief (?) and somehow made the flamethrower disappear back to his normal arm.

"I don't know how to use a lighter. It hurts my fingers." He said.

I didn't know if he's just joking or he's genuinely insane or he's just stupid. I sighed and look at the endless hallway. "HOW LONG DOES THIS THING GO?!" I exclaimed.

"Hmmm. Not here. Oh well." Prefect texted on some hologram to someone and shut it off. He then picked me up and said, "Speedrun."

"Wait wha-AAAAAA!!!" I screamed as the walls and its cells started to blur. He's so freaking fast! How the hell am I supposed to outrun him?! My escape plan started to fall apart.

We then ended up in some kind of storage room. Random items like broken modern junk to ancient antiques were mounted or scattered on rusty shelves which leaned on the cracking walls . The smell of some dusty papers and sawdust lingered in the air. The buzzing of the lamp took up the intense silence. But...I felt...watched....

"I am too lazy to do their exams so you do it." He then tossed me some kind of taser. I yelped as I tried to catch it. It bonked me on my head and landed in my hand. Ouch. Wait. Did he say...
