—Titan Cameraman's POV—

They say that Maisie perished over a cliff in Russia. I don't believe it. I wanted answers, not some stupid rumours. Wanting to gain answers, I refused to allow the Scientists to operate the preparation on me. I did that by shaking uncontrollable or sometimes violently smashing equipment. It was kind of funny to see them scatter like bugs. And so, I waited and waited.... The metal walkways were hanging on barely, wobbling under my soft breaths. A door swiped open and in came a black Cameraman, a concerned look on his lens. The Cameraman gazed at the other Scientists, who were cowering behind a counter as far away from me. They do know that there is some kind of strong barrier separating me and them right? Or they're just stupider than I thought. The black Cameraman, who is...I think some name that starts with a 'P', boldly marched towards the barrier. He gave me a stern, scolding look.

"Okay Titan Cameraman..." He said with a hint of annoyance, "Will. You. Please. Cooperate. With. Us?!" The Cameraman yelled at me.

I responded with a huff and inclined my head upwards in a 'no' position. I could see him pissed off at the corner of my eye.

"God you're exhausting..." The Cameraman sighed. "How the hell did Maisie deal with you..."

I immediately perked up when I heard her name. Everyone in the room jumped in surprise of my sudden movement. The Cameraman crossed his arms and raised his lens with skepticism.

"Hmmmm. I can say, that girl is a survivor for sure. Not the spoiled little brat I thought she might be..."The Cameraman chuckled, "Don't worry she's fine."

Hell. I want to see her right now. I did some annoyed grunts and a circling gesture on my right palm. My core flickered like my patience, which was waning fast. He seemed to understand me.

"Ummm." He gazed at the others to shush their whispering, "She is busy right now... maybe later?"

That was always the same response I get. Every. Single. God-darn. Time. I'm already sick. I growled as I hurled my fist at the barrier. BONG! It wavered under my strength but still reflected it back. All the occupants squealed and bolted for the door. Only the black one remained, staring at me with a defiant look. He lifted his chin up to stare at my furious glare.

"Be patient." Was all he said before he started for the door. When he reached it, he lingered for a while, "Trust us."

I don't trust them. But I did nothing but watched as he switched off the lights, leaving me in the dark.

—Maisie's POV—

"Maisie!" Someone urgently said, while shaking me. "Uh Maisie? Uh I would love to let you sleep but we gotta go now!"

I forced myself to peel open my eyes. The smell of faint dust and smog filled my lungs as I got up slowly. A blinding pale blue light pierced the walls as I blinked multiple times. Felix's face, brows furrowed into an impatient look, came into my blurred world. The recent events came flooding back into my mind. My heart pang in guilt as I reviewed SawNoob's death. Don't think about it, chase the storm clouds away. Don't let the dark thoughts win. Somebody grabbed my arm and heaved me up, the cool metal of the necklace thumped against my chest.

"Get ready to jump." Boreas materialised next to me, he opened the door.

"Wait jump?!" I said, my words were whipped away by the howling wind. The rattling of the train was overwhelmed by a high-pitched whistle. The scenery had changed from the icy white desert to an endless desert of orange, only dotted by light green cactus. The air was so arid all the moisture in my mouth vaporised. I was forced to clamp my mouth shut.
