Caitlyn slept there. Naked. In her bed. With her family in this home. Before anyone could walk in, Vi admired the woman's nude body as she always did. How the sun shined through the window down onto her body. Every curve, every small scar, everything.

Vi covered the woman's body with the thin sheet and kissed her head before getting up and searching for her clothes. She kissed the princess's head once more and left her in her slumber.

As the noble closed the door she smiled a bit. "Is the princess still here?" Vander asked her, the voice making her jump a bit.

"Uh, y-yes," Vi told him. "My apologies, I should've-"

"I could care less, child. Your brother made breakfast. Lord help us all."

"Which one...?"

"Which one do you think?"

"I hope to go down there and see Claggor near that stove."

"You'll learn to eat your words."

"Oh, dear..." Vi walked down the stairs to in fact see Mylo at the stove. Her sister was still focused on royal mathematics and her other brother who should've been cooking in the first place was sitting there drinking the tea he made for himself.

"This is a strange sight," Vi mumbled.

"Good morning, sister!" Mylo exclaimed.

"And you're in a good mood..."

"You aren't? You should really stop leaving your door cracked."

"Please, Mylo!" Powder exclaimed, "Vi, he didn't see more then he should've. Really, he didn't."

"You think I didn't see them going all the way-"

"I suppose it wouldn't matter if you did or not. You already know it's happening," Vi said.

"Is she still sleeping?" Powder asked.

"Yes, I decided to leave her be. The King decided to be more arrogant than what the public sees and it hasn't exactly been easy on her."

"Is that where the... bruise came from?"

"I don't know. I didn't ask and she didn't tell me. It would be against her wishes for me to speak of it anymore. That doesn't mean get curious and obsessive, alright? She's gonna be okay."

"I know. I'm not gonna get obsessive, I swear it."

"You better not."

"She probably will," Mylo mumbled.

"Mylo, please," Vi groaned.

"I thought I heard you children in here bickering," Vander said, walking in fully clothed. Like a noble... "Did Her Highness stay over?"

"I think it might become a regular thing," Vi told him with both hope and concern in her voice. "Not that she hates her duties at the palace, she just... enjoys it here as well-"

"I understand. You don't need to explain yourself, you're grown. This isn't putting any of us in harms way and the princess as done nothing but give."

"I agree," Powder said. "These books... they're amazing. I mean, this is math I haven't ever seen. This could help me with my inventions."

Mylo snickered a bit, "In your dreams."
Vi slapped him in the back of the head, "Ow!" He whined.

"You wish you had dreams as decent as Powder's," Claggor teased.
