¡Smut!
————————Vi stood at the front door, fixing the collar of her chemise. Before she opened it, Vander stopped her, "Are you walking?" He asked.
"I believe I know where I'm going," Vi insisted.
"The palace is a long walk, Vi. Take the carriage this time."
Vi rolled her eyes and walked out to the carriage. It was awkward sitting in it alone because the first and only time she had really been in a carriage was when she was with her family. She walked the rest of the time.
When Vi arrived at the palace, there was a middle aged brunette woman tending the rose bushes at the front of the palace. They were blue rose bushes with small white flowers here and there, "Are you here to speak with someone?" The woman asked.
"Yes, I was invited by the princess," Vi said, "She did tell you, correct?"
"Oh, yes! She is in the library. Do you know how to get there?"
The noble smirked, "I know how, thank you, miss."
The guards at the double doors opened them and Vi entered. She admired the things she had ignored as she walked towards the library. She saw Caitlyn sitting at one of the tables, reading a book. A ray of sunshine flooded into the room, shining perfectly on Caitlyn's porcelain skin. She was still wearing her silk nightgown which was a bit more revealing than what Vi was expecting.
The princess looked up and smiled, "You came," she said. She closed the book and signaled Vi to sit down, "I honestly wasn't thinking that you would."
"Well, I couldn't simply deny a sweet offer," Vi said, sitting down across from her, "The roses are quite beautiful."
"Really? I insisted father have them placed all around the palace. The old red ones my mother had out were dead and the place looked haunted almost."
"I suppose I will come to you if we need any suggestions for what to put at the new home."
"I already had a few. Hydrangeas, white ones. Blue doesn't seem like a fit for your home. I would even suggest pink ones."
Vi chuckled, "I'll keep it in mind. What were you reading?"
"Documented hauntings. It is rather interesting."
"You believe in spirits?"
"Yes, I do. I believe that those who have died have unfinished business. It may seem insane but I do wish there was a way to speak with them."
"Perhaps there is and it hasn't been revealed to us. More and more things are being invented each day."
"Do you believe those inventors are fools? I tried speaking about them with my father but he shut me down rather quickly."
"My sister wants to become an inventor. She took it upon herself to learn... math. She has been building things since we were little. I don't believe in fools when the ones in question are able to inspire."
"Math? I suppose she is good at it."
"She is. She had to cut off her teachings because she had been caught stealing the books to learn the mathematics."
"Would you like me to bring some my next visit? I don't use the books anymore."
"She would like that. I do believe she knows about... the kiss. You had left a bit of lipstick on my face."
"My apologies. I will be more careful next time if you wish to keep this a secret."
"You don't wish to keep this a secret?"
