Two weeks after the ordeal with District Ten, Ricky decided to take her out on a date. Although they have been married for almost two years now, it's still a new experience for her. She still feels giddy and has to call her friends over to help her with her outfits. If this was a business meeting it would've been easier!

"Sis, wear the red dress and gold heels."

Emerald suggests and even chooses a silver necklace to pair with. They had been choosing dresses for almost thirty minutes straight, the problem was that she couldn't on whether to wear the red dress or the blue one. The red one is a v-neck long dress, while the blue one is a cocktail dress.

"Wouldn't it be too revealing?"

She asked as the three girls' faces palmed, obviously not amused by her question. She just couldn't help but feel like that since she was conservative.

"Sis, you do realize that Cloud is your husband right? And not you fuck buddy or anything."

She wanted to smack Amethyst because among the four of them she was the most foul-mouthed, how on earth could a lady say such things?

"Amethyst, please refrain from saying profanity. You're a woman, yet you act like a man!"

Leave it to Emerald to put some sense into Amethyst, while she and Garnet enjoy the show.

"I'm just telling the truth, anyways you're going to be late sis."

She decided to wear the blue cocktail dress instead since it would be easier to move. She then remembered it was Eloise's nap time, it was already five in the afternoon anyway. Her friends then looked at her with concern.

"Calm down we will take care of Eloise, she's at your parent's house remember?"

Only then she was able to relax and get on a date with her husband. Well, today was a little different from their other dates, since Ricky just told her the location and did not pick her up. Their date location was at the lake near District Thirteen where they first met, it took her about twenty minutes to get there.

The first thing she saw was the tulip petals on the pathway and the fairy lights around it. It was so magical like straight out of one of her novels, maybe that's why she saw him reading a few nights ago. She couldn't help but feel warm inside, she didn't expect him to be so attentive.

"Hello there, my lady."

He then kissed her cheek softly and guided her to a small table by the end of the lake.

"So, did you like it? I know it might not be the same as your novel, but I tried hard to make it come to life."

She knew how much effort he put into decorating everything, so she just took his hand and silently enjoyed his company. After all, she was still processing everything that was happening around her.

"It's more than what I imagined, and you did a fantastic job. I didn't expect anyone to be able to recreate one of the date scenes in my novels, so, thank you love."

She of course complimented him, and he was smiling at her like a child who was given a lollipop at the mall. This was what she missed the most during the time that they were separated because of the war, now that they were given another opportunity she doesn't want to ruin it again.

He didn't expect her reaction to be like that, especially since he wasn't good with following directions, even in law school he rarely followed his professor's instructions, he used his instincts more than anything. So, he was surprised that he managed to follow through with the novel. Well, it was for his wife anyway.

Midway through the date he starts to become fidgety because he doesn't know if Celina would accept his marriage proposal for the second time. However, his fear subsided when he saw their wedding ring around her neck. She told him before that she would wear the ring around her neck, at least until everything was under control. He of course agreed to it, otherwise, they wouldn't be able to see through everyone's crap, especially Naomi and District Ten.

"Is something bothering you, Ricky?"

He was pulled back to reality when Celina called out his name, he then decided that it was now or never. Fortunately, there was a bunch of doves flying across, it took Celina's focus elsewhere for a moment. Allowing him to kneel and take out a box containing a new engagement ring for her. When she turned around, she was speechless and he saw how her blue eyes were shining bright. It seemed like the entire galaxy was there, and he couldn't stop looking at it.

"Celina Sapphire Aragon, I know we were married before, and it didn't go well. Our defenses were too high for each other, and it came off as marriage for convenience. But during the time that I was with you, you made me realize what true happiness was. So, I would like you to make me the happiest man on earth again. Will you marry me again, sweetheart?"

As the final word was said, Celina was already crying. But he was sure it was happy tears, she then eased his worries by asking a question back to him.

"Are you sure it's going to fit my finger?"

He didn't expect that but nodded, and slowly slipped the ring into her finger. And even without saying anything, he knows that this time around everything will work out for the best.

"So, did she say yes?"

They turned to their left and saw someone walking out of the bushes, it was one of his brothers. He wanted to mess around for a little bit, but Celina chose not to do so.

"Let's play with them for a little bit."

"Ricky, they're tired of following us around. Just give it to them straight."

And who was he to define his wife, so he showed them their linked hands and the new engagement ring. Then all hell broke loose, screaming and crying could be heard. His wife was dragged into a bear hug by their family and friends, and he just observed them from behind. He silently vowed to not repeat his mistakes, and he would live his life with her like it was the one last chance the higher-ups had given to him.
