The next day at the dining hall, the atmosphere was thick with silence as the four members—excluding Beomgyu—ate their meals. Each of them felt the weight of unspoken words, the awkwardness lingering in the air. Just then, Beomgyu walked in.
"Guys, today is my last day... See you all after a month," he announced, a bittersweet smile on his face.
"Bye, Beomie... You're getting extra holidays," Yeonjun replied, trying to lighten the mood.
"I know you need it, Oldie... But what can I do? Bye..." Beomgyu said, hugging Yeonjun.
"Bye, Kai..." He wrapped his arms around Kai for a quick hug.
"Hyung, message me anything every day... Bye!" Kai responded eagerly.
"Sure, kid... Bye, big brain..." Beomgyu chuckled, hugging Taehyun next.
"Bye..." Taehyun smiled, though his expression was tinged with concern.
Soobin stood there awkwardly, unsure of what to say or do. The tension was palpable.
"Bye, Soobinie... I'll miss you a lot..." Beomgyu said, pulling Soobin into a tight hug and planting a kiss on his cheek.
Soobin felt breathless for a few moments, his mind racing. All the members looked shocked, and Soobin stared at Beomgyu, his cheeks flushing from pale to bright red. He wanted to ask why but struggled to find his voice. Just then, Beomgyu cupped Soobin's cheek with one hand, breaking the tension.
"Soobin hyung, we can still do this in a PLATONIC WAY, can't we?" Beomgyu smirked, his tone teasing.
This wasn't the usual Beomgyu—innocent, bright, warm, or even a bit depressed. This was the 1% Beomgyu, the one who exuded a playful confidence that sent shivers down Soobin's spine. It reminded him of their first meeting, a side of Beomgyu that rarely emerged—maybe once in a blue moon. But when it did, Soobin felt himself lose control.
Beomgyu playfully turned the table, positioning himself as the dominant one, pushing Soobin into the role of the submissive. Soobin had privately labeled this version of Beomgyu as THE PLAYBOY BEOMGYU, and it left him both flustered and intrigued.
*After 2 months*
Today is Beomgyu' s arrival date. He may arrive at any time. Members are now in pretty good term with Soobin. All the members were waiting excitedly.
*knock knock*
Taehyun opens the door and Huening Kai jumps and hugs him.
"Ahh" It wasn't Beomgyu's voice. It was a female voice...
