Y/n POV

I looked at myself for the last time as a sigh left my mouth. The bloody dark red dress hugged my body tightly while making its way down till my knees, it's half shoulder sleeves giving attention towards my beauty bone and a beautiful diamond necklace adorning my neck, my hair swinging in air with the dazzling shine of my earrings. My whole look was elegant and made with such efforts that no one would ever know the truth behind my face.

Only I know how much I was going to act tonight, just the thought of me smiling whole time causes a sensation of pain in my jaw. I sighed and looked at my ring finger.

Guess what, you would no longer be empty.

After pitying myself, I went downstairs with heavy steps. As soon as I made my way towards the living room, my mom looked up and smirked."You've surely got my looks." She remarked making me cringe inside as I faked a smile in her direction before making my way towards the exit when she stopped me."Wait."

I halted on my steps and turned around towards her with a hint of irritation on my face. She came towards me and grabbed my shoulder while removing a strand of hair from my face."Make sure you behave otherwise you know the consequences, right?" She warned causing me to frown in confusion as to what consequences she was talking about.

Just as I was about to ask, she interrupted,"You'll have to pay back all the money you spent on that boy right away. I don't care from where but you would have to, so make sure to keep my nose." She coldly stated as I sighed and pulled my lips in a thin line before jerking off her hands."Let's just go and end this as soon as possible." I said and went outside the mansion while huffing in irritation.

This was already getting on my nerves, I don't know how will I endure this for that long.

The car pulled infront of an expensive restaurant as I sighed and grabbed my purse before getting out of the car followed by my mom. She came towards me and signalled me to move inside. As we went inside, the sight of an old couple came infront of us. My mom smiled slightly looking at them as I scoffed silently in disbelief. This must be the first time I saw her smiling like this.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Lee." She greeted the couple as they both smiled and shook hands with my mom. I just stood there silently looking at them when my eyes fell on a young guy behind them. He looked at me and smiled as I looked away and pretended to never notice him. I wondered what was so special about him that Jaiden appointed him for his mission. Could it be that he's one of his men?

If it's true then I should congratulate myself for dragging myself in yet another hell."She's Y/n, my daughter." My mom said and placed her hand on my forearm making me move backwards to avoid her touch. As much as I would have liked being called her daughter in past, I disliked it the most right now. If it were possible for me to do so, then I would have surely lived without any surname than having her in mine.

"She's so pretty. I already like her." Mrs. Lee said with a smile as I just slightly bowed in response without giving much shit. We went towards our booked area as that guy came beside me and smiled."Hey, I'm Lee Su." He introduced himself as I glanced at his face. He had a big fat smile spreaded on his face making me internally confused at his behaviour."Aren't you going to tell your name?" He asked making me come out of my daze.

"Don't you already know it?" I said back coldly and went away from there while he chuckled behind me. We all sat on our respective seats while Mr. Lee ordered us food and drinks. I shifted uncomfortably on my place as I felt Lee Su staring at me continuously.

Can't he look away?!

"So Y/n, I heard that you're studying business and arts. How's your study going?" Mr. Lee asked as I looked at him."Good." I replied shortly to which he chuckled and nodded."I see, you're a little cold but it's okay. It's quite normal to behave like this when you don't have a father." He said laughed  making me raise my eyebrow as I looked at my mom only to see her smiling. i scoffed and leaned back a little and looked at him with a monotonous look.
