POV: You

Part 1.

I stood in the kitchen making coffee. It's the next day. I pour hot water over fresh grounds, pure black coffee just the way Aki likes it. I am up early cause Power and Denji woke me up making a shit tone of noise.

"So, they woke you up too huh?" Aki says as he sloths his way into the kitchen.

"Yup" I replied.

"Know what it's about?" He questions as he peered into the fridge.

"Probably a way to get back at Kishibe" I state then handed him the cup of coffee "Here. For you"

"Thanks" Aki says.

"How'd it go with the two from Kyoto? They didn't get you killed so that's good" I say with a soft chuckle.

"Better than I could have imagined...actually" Aki says with a puzzled tone as he leaned against the counter, staring at his coffee.

"That so? What happened?" I question as I folded my arms.

"My contract with the Future Devil, it....didn't make much sense when he offered it. He gave me the ability to use some of his power, and gave back the life span the Curse Devil took from me.....all for a single strand of hair" Aki explains to me and I raised a brow.

"As much of a loud mouth Future is. A contract on paper that was way out of his favor seems odd. Unless..."

"Are you not happy about that? You don't seem happy" I ask.

"I am...I guess I'm more stuck in disbelief really. I feel like my mind is being messed with, it's against much of what I know about devils" He says then takes a sip of his coffee "The Future Devil, He told me the reason he was being so generous was cause of you. The Warrior Devil"

"Me?" I state while raising my brow.

"Yeah. He said you'll change the future. You'll make a great future, since I am working with you, he was excited to help me. Apparently, you are essential to a better future" Aki explains then looks up at me "There was also something he wanted me to tell you"

"And was it?" I say.

"He told me to tell you "Save the girl with the collar" said you'll know what it means when the time comes" Aki says to me then finishes his coffee "Anyway, I have to get going. See you later"

Aki puts the empty mug down before walking out of the apartment. I sigh now thinking in my head "Save the girl with the collar. Future, just what is in store for me..."

"(Y/n)!!" Power sings as she slides into the living room. Her hair was brushed and put in a side pony tail and a pair of glasses on her head "What do you think? Don't I look impeccably intelligent?"

Power poses a little, wearing her Public Saftey uniform loosely without the coat "Definitely looking the part Power" I say with a small smile.

"Ha! I am on par of the course for becoming best wife!" Power exclaims.

"Where's Denji?" I question.

"He is setting up for our attack on the grumpy geezer. Our plan is perfect!" Power answers.

"Power, you keep working hard and I'll think about a contract and marriage proposal, how does that sound?" I say to Power.

Her expression brightens while making a cute face "Ohhh! Do you mean it human?" Power says.

"I do Power" I reply.

"I hope you know I do not take your recent words lightly! You here! I shall become best wife!" Power exclaims.
