Chapter 403 - Reign's Talks

Back in Las Vegas, Reign has now spent the last 15 minutes talking with Carly, learning a lot more about her, and what her hopes and dreams are, and more importantly, how Carly ended up in this position, working as a prostitute. From this, Reign discovered that the reason Carly ended up in this situation, is because she previously had an abusive boyfriend. However, as with common with a lot of abusive relationships, Carly always tried to rationalise in her mind, giving excused for her boyfriend's abusive behaviour. Ultimately though, this cost her, as one day, for some reason, her boyfriend was in a really really foul mood, and he asked Carly for sex. Carly, on that particular day, was just not in the mood, so said no, but her boyfriend did not take no as a good answer. As a result of this, her boyfriend became really aggressive, and violent, beating her to a pulp, while also raping her. The end result of this was that Carly needed to go to the hospital to have surgery to fix multiple broken bones, a punctured lung, and a broken nose. This ended up costing Carly an absolute fortune in medical bills, meaning she went into a lot of debt, and once she was fully recovered the only way for her to actually pay off the debt was to sell herself into prostitution.

"Thank you for telling me that, Carly." Reign says, "Were you given a time as to when your debt would finally paid off."

"Well..... about 6 months ago...... I was sent to..... a party..... for some high rollers..... and they ended up tipping me a lot of money for my..... services..... as a result..... I was able to pay the rest of my debt off." Carly explains.

"I see." Reign hums, "Then why are you still working as a prostitute?"

"There..... is two main reasons..... The first is..... while this may have all come about through trauma..... I kind of like what I do. I love sex, and I like that I have got to do this as my job." Carly says, "However, the second reason, which is really the bigger reason, is that my ex-boyfriend is still out there."

"What?" Reign says, "Did you not report him to the police for what he did to you?"

"I did." Carly replies, "Or.... I mean..... at first I was too terrified to report him to the police.... but when I went to the hospital, the doctors could tell what had happened to me, and they were then legally required to notify the police. After my surgeries, some police officers came to visit me in the hospital, and ask me what happened, and after a little bit of convincing I told them."

"I see....." Reign says, "Did they not do anything about it?"

"They..... I don't know what they did..... My ex-boyfriend..... his father is a cop..... so...... I think his father must have had something to do with it...... and stopped his son from getting any charges. Either way, my ex-boyfriend found out I had reported him to the police, and he then phoned me one day, and I picked up the phone without even seeing who was calling, and on the call he told me that he was going to kill me for reporting him to the police. He told me that he would find me, and make me pay for daring to 'lie' about what he did to me. He claimed I begged him to rape me, and begged him to abuse me, because I am a 'fucked up bitch'. After hearing him say that, I believed him, so I have stayed in this life, because it always affords me some protection as well." Carly explains.

"I see..." Reign hums, "Have you ever thought about learning how to defend yourself? Learning any basic skills to fight?"

"No." Carly says, "I have been too terrified to be hit again...."

"Yes, I can understand that." Reign nods, "But perhaps I can teach you how to fight. In fact, I plan to teach all you girls how to fight, so you know how to defend yourselves from anyone who may try and attack us."

"I..... okay.... that sounds good." Carly nods, "So.... does that mean that you know how to fight then?"

"Yes. I do. I am very skilled." Reign says, with a cocky smirk on her face.
