For the last 10 minutes at L-Corp, Kara has basically being sitting there in Lena's office listening to Lena and Jess talk, with Jess catching Lena up on everything that has been going on at both L-Corp and CatCo, and the things Lena needs to know for her to work effectively come Monday, when she comes back to work full time. Admittedly, for Kara, sitting there just listening to Lena and Jess talk about everything going on with L-Corp and CatCo from a business side of things has been pretty boring for the blonde. It's not that Kara can't take an interest in her wife's work or anything. It's just that Kara is far more interested in the part of her wife's work that involved her making some amazing technologies, or helping people with her companies new inventions or charitable funds. Kara is certainly not interested in the nitty gritty business deals that go on on a daily basis that the CEO has to deal with just to keep the company running smoothly, and make all the departments happy. Listening to such a thing is honestly one of the most boring things Kara could think of. So because of that, Kara is pretty bored right now, but she is making a very good effort to just be quiet, and try and not show Lena and Jess just how bored she is. Kara doesn't want to be that partner who publicly shows her wife just how bored she is when she is doing something, which thereby would cause Lena to notice and have to wrap up things quickly simply because she is basically publicly showing how bored and restless she is getting. Thankfully for Kara though, she soon receives a reprieve when her phone starts to ring, and she sees that Winn is the one calling her. Upon hearing the phone ring, both Lena and Jess look in Kara's direction, almost as if they forgot she was here in the office with them until they were distracted by the sound of the phone.

"Sorry." Kara says, "It's Winn. I'll take this outside."

"Okay." Lena nods, "I promise, I won't be much longer."

"That's okay. Take your time." Kara says, and now heads out to Lena's balcony, and soon closes the door behind her before answering the phone, "Hello, Winn?"

"Kara, good. You answered. Something is happening in the Himalayan mountains, and we think you should go and check it out." Winn says.

"Uhhh.... Himalayan?" Kara says, "Why would I need to go there? Is there like an accident that's happened due to the stupid amount of people that are now allowed to climb mount Everest or something?"

"No. It's not that." Winn says, "Over the last few hours we have detected small earthquakes coming from somewhere in the Himalayas."

"Okay..... but Winn..... it's not like I can stop an earthquake. I'm not a god or anything." Kara says, "Plus, wouldn't earthquakes make sense? After all, I may not been that good with Earth science, but weren't the Himalayan mountains formed due to two tectonic plates pushing up against each other."

"Uhh..... That's technically not accurate. The Himalayan mountains are formed from two continental plates pressing towards each other. However, the plates don't just push up against one another, one plate goes under the other, and the other plate is pushed upwards, creating the mountains. It is known as a convergent plate boundary." Winn explains, "Anyway, that is not the point. The point is that these specific plate boundaries very very very rarely have Earthquakes, and when they do, they are very tiny, and don't last very long. That is not what is going on now."

"Okay.... What is going on now then?" Kara asks.

"Well, from the reports, before we started monitoring the area, the Earthquakes started about 2 hours ago at around a magnitude 2." Winn explains, "Those types of Earthquakes basically can't be felt by humans, as they are so small, but they can be detected by seismographs. About an hour later though, the Earthquakes progressed to magnitude 3 Earthquakes, then an hour later, a magnitude 4, and now they are around a magnitude 5."
