Meanwhile in Kaznia, everything is in place for Talia. Talia has set events into motion that will mean the resistance, which she and Leviathan are "part of", as well as the authoritarian government body will face heavy loses within these next few hours, meaning that Talia and Leviathan will be in an excellent position to strike these weakened forces, and take control of this country. However, despite Talia being confident that her Leviathan agents, lead by her own might, could conquer this country, perhaps even now, before either side of the civil war is weakened, she does know that conquering a country is one thing, while remaining in power is a whole other thing. Talia knows that if she were just to destroy both the resistance and the authoritarian government and then place herself into power as the country's new leader, the general population of the country would likely have a big problem with that. Talia would be seen as an outsider conquering the country, and making herself their leader. They would never accept her. Then, as a response to this, it is likely that more discontent within the general population would form, resulting in more groups being created that want to challenge Talia as the new leader of Kaznia, both through means of protest, and through means of violence. Of course, Talia is extremely confident that if anything like that were to happen she and her Leviathan agents would quite easily be able to "put down" the people who rise up against her, but that will simply take time, and resources, to do, and just be a nuisance to Talia, and hinder her ultimate plans. At the end of the day, Talia is still driven by her deluded Lazarus pit effected mind, which wants to conquer Kaznia to use it as the first step at conquering Earth, before moving on to conquering the entire universe. Therefore, Talia doesn't want to have her plans be limited by constantly having to deal with people trying to overthrow her, and Leviathan, in Kaznia. So, because of all that, Talia has come to the conclusion that her best bet, to conquer Kaznia, while also keeping the general population happy, is to place a puppet as the leader of the country, one that she can easily control. Talia knows she cannot use any of the members of the authoritarian government to do that, because there is too much of a bad taste in the Kaznian people's mouths for the current government for them to be allowed to continue. Therefore, because of that, Talia knows it will have to be a member of the resistance who she places into power as the new leader, and is obedient to her, and who better than the leader of the resistance itself, who has come to trust and rely on Talia over these past few weeks, due to how much she has "helped" the resistance movement, even though the truth is that Talia has very much been playing both sides.

Since Talia has decided that she will make the leader of the resistance the new leader of Kaznia, who will just be a puppet leader to her, Talia has actually grown more and more accused of her decision. This is because Talia has realised that truthfully, despite how highly she thinks of herself, she cannot rule a country as its leader, while also turning her attention to conquering other countries. Talia cannot allow herself to be divided like that. So, Talia now knows that with every country she and Leviathan conquers, she will need to place a puppet as leader, who ultimately reports to her, and is loyal to her, but at the same time is able to be independent enough to make decisions about the country without having to constantly have to consult with her. Talia believes the resistance leader is the perfect person for this in Kaznia, as she generally has a respect among the Kaznian population, due to how she has led the resistance, with her always making sure to protect the civilian population, even if doing so costs her, and the resistance men, women, as well as time and resources that are crucial to them. Then, on top of all this, the leader of the resistance has also not been one to remain in the resistances base of operations and lead from there. She has gone out on missions herself, and fault among the other resistance members, risking her own life, not expecting the members of the resistance to do anything that she is not willing to do herself. All of this has impressed Talia very much. However, at the same time, all the features of the Kaznia resistance leader that have impressed Talia, are features that make it clear to Talia that the resistance leader would be very hard to control. Her character is so 'noble' that it is unlikely that she could be bribed, and she is far too strong, and ruthless at times, to ever give into blackmail either. So, this ultimately means that Talia will have to turn to slightly different means to control this Leviathan leader, although they are not means that she is unfamiliar with.
