“Thanks, Jungkook,” Taehyung said, feeling a wave of relief. “I really appreciate it. I’ll always be here for you, no matter what.”
They stood there for a moment, the gentle breeze rustling the leaves overhead, signaling that perhaps, just perhaps, they were on the path to healing.
As the summer days passed, Taehyung, Lisa, and Jungkook settled into a new rhythm. Their friendship slowly returned to its former glory, albeit with a few adjustments. Jungkook still had moments of introspection, but he began to embrace the changes.
He started dating someone new, a girl named Mina, who turned out to be a perfect match for him. The excitement in his eyes when he talked about her filled Taehyung with joy.
One evening, while they were all gathered at Taehyung’s house for a movie night, Jungkook turned to Taehyung and Lisa. “You two are really good together,” he said, a genuine smile lighting up his face. “I’m glad you found each other.”
“Thanks, Jungkook,” Lisa replied, her eyes sparkling. “It means a lot to us that you’re okay with this.”
As they settled in to watch the movie, Taehyung felt a warmth spread through him.
He had worried that things might never be the same after everything that had happened, but now he felt more connected to his friends than ever.
