Victoria was excited.
It worked. It worked!
She found an ancient one, and two at that!
Now they were all gathered, and in the same city, where fate would take its course and destiny would have its way.Victoria couldn't be happier!

The council gathered.
Witches, warlocks, shifters and vampires alike swarmed the underbelly of the Mysore Palace. Servants were called, plates were gathered, and tension arose along with the smoke from the kitchens.
The council of four each headed for the decision room, and all had a slight grimace placed on their lips.
Gabriel, the angels' representative, sat last, and called everyone's attention.
Mason, the warlocks leader, had brought a chair into the decision room himself and placed his seat between Argus and Romolli, leaders of the shifters and vampire empires respectively.
No one spoke up about his intrusive behavior as they usually do because of the urgent matter at hand."We have a problem." Victoria, head of the witches, announced.
"No shit Sherlock." Mason shouted.
"The Ancient Ones are back! We're all fucked!" He continued, jumping out of his chair and slamming his hands on the table.
"Calm down Mason. We'll be fine." Gabriel replied, a small smile on his face.
"Calm down? Calm down?!" Romolli yelled.
"How can we be fine? No one here will be fine! We've all done something to piss one of the Ancient Ones off!" He yelled, placing his head in his hands, weeping."Your going too far!" Gabriel laughed, leaning back in his chair.
"I think he's properly reacting." Mason piped in.
"He's the one who's pissed what's-his-name off the most." Mason finished, puffing up a deli sandwich and chomping down on it."Well..." Gabriel tried to argue, but couldn't.
"Your only calm because you can get Michael to do all your work again, you lazy bastard." Victoria chimed in, her voice maintaining it's happy chirp.
"I say we combine our forces and take them out one by one." Argus chimed in, war being his only place of talent.
"I agree! We cannot let them settle down and get comfortable! We'll be skewered!" Mason said.
"Hold on now, we're getting ahead of ourselves!" Gabriel said, trying to calm the war hungry supernaturals.
"Just because Michael isn't mad at you doesn't mean the other Ancient Ones aren't either. Remember The Tigress?" Mason snapped.
"....Oh.." Gabriel replied, his back straightening.
"Hmmm? Or him? We all know he's the real problem." Mason added, sitting down in his chair with a plop.
"He's always been the real problem." Gabriel said.
"Now, the Tigress, does she hold grudges?" Gabriel asked.

Emily hated the night shift. Creepy customers, drunk bastards, and pitiful teenage prostitution was all that she could see from her tiny little diner window."May I take your order?" Emily asked, a fake smile plastered on her face.
"Your life force." The man replied.
Emily froze, unsure of how to react.
Was he drunk? She couldn't smell any alcohol on him. Crazy? Maybe, all the lunatics came out on Saturday nights. The small diner's lights flickered and the empty restaurant shuddered with a cold chill.
"Dave?" Emily called to the back.
"Yeah?" Dave, the diner's cook, called back.
"Could you make this nice man a batch of hangover soup?"
"Sure thing, sugar!" Dave replied.
The man sat there, as if he had been in a bar brawl and began to weep.
It may have been Emily's imagination, but she thought she saw a huge pair of drooping wings on the dimly lit wall behind the man.
