Despite all the huff and puff Alice showed Gregory about this insane plan of the other two quacks in the apartment, she had her doubts.
Sure, the plan was crazy, and if anyone attempted to execute such a plan, then it was a definite death sentence, and not because it wasn't sound.
Though Ashanti was batshit crazy, she was intelligent, genius even. The plan made sense anyway Alice thought about it. It wasn't extravagant, it didn't require special rope to scale buildings, or need for the four of them to raise a secret army and lead an attack in one hundred years.
It was simple.
And it all relied on four people. The four people of the council: Argus, Romolli, Victoria, and Gabriel.Ashanti had such intimate knowledge of all four of the most important people in the supernatural world that it was unbelievable.
And Alice began to believe that not only was this plan perfect, but it could be carried out perfectly.
She was terrified.
Ashanti's plan also hinged on the four of them, and what scared Alice the most was that Ashanti came up with such a plan so easily, specifically tailored to each individual.
Her strengths, weaknesses, and even personal taste were all found out within her first couple of days staying with the creeps.
Alice was not scared of the plan failing, and her dying in a hailstorm of claws, fangs, fire, and wings. She was scared because this plan was almost guaranteed to work.
That's why she told Gregory that they would die in the process of this plan.
He was a good guy, and they had bonded over the time they were held in his apartment.Alice just wanted to keep the lie going a little bit longer because it was their best bet. Because if they did succeed, then dying would be a much better outcome at the end of it all.

Ashanti sniffed the air, sprouted her tail, and pranced on her hands.
Shang's scent wafted through the apartment and she just couldn't get enough of it. He smelled like a million and one things and nothing all at once.Shivers crawled down her spine and her tail wagged eagerly.
Every time Shang took a shower, which was at least three times a day, there was always just one moment where Ashanti could see a sliver of skin where his hip and thigh met.
It was glorious!
Ashanti knew this was stalkerish, she knew this was creepy, but every single time he got out the shower she found herself incapable of not peeking.
It was getting so bad that she began to imagine that his lovely marbled skin was being exposed for a millisecond longer each time, as if he was giving her permission to look just a bit more.It was torture.
In all her many years of life, Ashanti never felt sexual frustration. She thought she was incapable of even having such feelings for anyone. She even thought it was just a side effect of her being a werewolf.
Regardless, the three hotshots of her days were passing by way too slowly.
So she got up, stretched, and headed straight to the window and turned around to face her three minions.
"Tonight is the night." Ashanti said, grabbing hold of the window sill.
"Tonight, we will begin our plan to fuck over those Sentinel bastards!" Ashanti yelled, gaining two shocked expressions.
"I thought it was world domination?" Gregory said, eyes bulging and a worried look on his face.
"Ah, yeah, yeah, I know. Uh, World Domination just sounds so...villainous." Ashanti said, slight nervousness leaking out of her body language.
By the looks on their faces, Ashanti knew she'd been caught.
"Anyway, we begin tonight!" Ashanti roared, gaining one person's applause.
Alice and Gregory exchanged looks as they figured out what was actually happening.
Ashanti didn't want to take over the world, she just wanted to take the world from the four people currently in charge of it.Greg had seen this before, both in movies and in his career as a cop.
Revenge, payback, whatever was never a good idea. It fucked people up, and more importantly, it fucked people who were only around the idiot seeking revenge as well.
Gregory could already see the long night ahead.

Gabriel bit his nails and grated his teeth.
Despite his laid back persona, he was a man with plenty of worries. His older brother, Michael, was the one who put him in charge of being the envoy between the world and father almighty. And he was a bit of a mess when it came to leading.
In all two thousand years of his current job, he only slipped up 77 times.77 times too many.
And one of his very first screw ups were with the Tigress. A beast by many standards, a fierce beauty only by some.
And Gabriel did have a small thing for the young mammal. That did not end well. At all.
Michael flew down in a fury after it all went down and clipped Gabriel's wings.
He still hasn't earned those back yet.
Anyway, now that the Mad Tiger and the other one have awakened, Gabriel was in for more than just a beating, no matter how well deserved.
And if Gabriel knew either one of his biggest threats, he knew just where they were going to aim; the jugular.
In Gabriel's case, his most prized possession. His wings.
Yes, Michael did clip them, but he did much more than that.
Michael tied each wing to a giant oak tree thousands of miles apart. Some days Gabriel would watch them from a safe distance because getting too close would automatically burn a feather and shock him with a lightening bolt.
Gabriel was terrified. He could almost see the sadistic glee coming from both their eyes, happy to bring such pain and humiliation upon him.
Gabriel knew that he had to enlist help from more than just the puny council and their pathetic armies.
He needed to call his dad.
