Once the villain was safely locked inside. Y/N took a position leaning on the railing by the control panel as Fury addressed his prisoner.
"In case it's unclear, if you try to escape, if you so much as scratch that glass," Fury announced activating the door below the cell as a warning, "It's thirty thousand feet straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works? Ant. Boot."

He announced gesturing from Loki to the console. Loki chuckled, causing Y/N to frown. "It's an impressive cage. Not built I think, for me," Loki jeered at them.
"Built for something a lot stronger than you."
"Oh, I've heard. A mindless beast. Makes play he's still a man... How desperate are you, that you call on such lost creatures to defend you?"
"How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace, and you kill because it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did," Fury told the false ruler.
"Ooh, it burns you to have come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power. Unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share, and then to be reminded what real power is."
"Well let me know if 'real power' wants a magazine or something." Y/N smirked from where he was and joined the Director in walking back to the bridge.
"I'm not sure it's a good idea to be keeping him here sir. It's a setup, he's literally known as the prince of lies. Is it really a good idea to hold him on the ship?"
"Unfortunately until we've got the cube, we need him at arms reach. As soon as we have the Tesseract back, we'll find him somewhere more long term."
"Sir yes sir," Y/N sighed before remembering something else, "Director, now that we've got him in custody, is it alright if I head back to New York? I have some personal issues I need to work out and schoolwork to handle."
