Back on the Helicarrier, Y/N escorted Loki along with a squadron of armed SHIELD agents, towards the cell initially designed to possibly hold the Hulk. Once the villain was safely locked inside. Y/N took a position leaning on the railing by the control panel as Fury addressed his prisoner.

"In case it's unclear, if you try to escape, if you so much as scratch that glass," Fury announced activating the door below the cell as a warning, "It's thirty thousand feet straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works? Ant. Boot." He announced gesturing from Loki to the console. Loki chuckled, causing Y/N to frown.

"It's an impressive cage. Not built I think, for me," Loki jeered at them.

"Built for something a lot stronger than you." 

"Oh, I've heard. A mindless beast. Makes play he's still a man... How desperate are you, that you call on such lost creatures to defend you?"

"How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace, and you kill because it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did," Fury told the false ruler.

"Ooh, it burns you to have come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power. Unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share, and then to be reminded what real power is."

"Well let me know if 'real power' wants a magazine or something." Y/N smirked from where he was and joined the Director in walking back to the bridge.

"I'm not sure it's a good idea to be keeping him here sir. It's a setup, he's literally known as the prince of lies. Is it really a good idea to hold him on the ship?"

"Unfortunately until we've got the cube, we need him at arms reach. As soon as we have the Tesseract back, we'll find him somewhere more long term."

"Sir yes sir," Y/N sighed before remembering something else, "Director, now that we've got him in custody, is it alright if I head back to New York? I have some personal issues I need to work out and schoolwork to handle."

"Agent L/N now really isn't the best time to be worried about your love life." Fury replied.

"I know sir but I'm kind of in the doghouse right now, I especially need to get back there tomorrow, and you know I can be back on the Helicarrier within 5 minutes of the call." Fury looked at him and exhaled.

"Alright then but if you hear from us I want you back on this ship asap," he said continuing to walk. Y/N followed behind him.

"Thank you Director Fury."

They got back to the bridge where the rest of the team was gathered discussing how Loki planned to bring an armada to Earth.

"Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?" Steve asked.

"He would have to heat the cube to a hundred twenty million Kelvin just to break through the Coulomb Barrier." Banner replied, Y/N teleported into the seat beside Steve, bringing up his phone to try and text Roxy that he'd be back soon, however the boy was ignored.

'Unless, Selvig has figured out how to stabilise the quantum tunneling effect."

"Well if he could do that, he could achieve heavy ion fusion at any reactor on the planet."

"Finally, someone who speaks English," Tony stated.

"Is that what just happened?" Steve asked.

"Between you and me Steve. Not a single word," Y/N proclaimed to the war hero.

"That's not something you should be proud of L/N," Nat whispered from across the table. Y/N rolled his eyes at her.

"Good to meet you Dr Banner. Your work on antielectron collisions is unparalleled. And I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster." Stark stated nonchalantly.
