After a year of school most people were leaving Y/N alone as a result of beating up the biggest bad in school he was a loner that most people thought was a gangster on account of how much trouble he stirred in his first month.
People still talked to him, among those was Roxy and there was also James and Brandon, the school friends he somehow managed to make. James was one of those nerdy kids you see in the library who gets bullied a lot. Or got bullied a lot, most people chose not to mess with him anymore. And Brandon was actually one of the jerks Y/N had beaten up on the first day. If you took him away from the lead bully, he was actually a decent guy.

Y/N was currently eating in the cafeteria, listening to James' recount of what happened at Stark Industries last night.
"Then the Arc Reactor exploded and destroyed the malfunctioning prototype."
"No dice Jimmy, its all a conspiracy, I'm telling you." He gave Y/N a look that said are you serious?

"Hey Y/N!" The boy in question turned to see Roxy Reyes. His next door neighbour and daughter of his Strategic Homeland Investigation Enforcement and Logistics Division detail;. She was currently making her way over to the table. "I heard a rumour that you got top of the class," she said scooting into the seat next to him.
Unsurprisingly Y/N was top of his class, despite his delinquent reputation, due in part to him skipping class for covert work and just because he was bored, he was already a college graduate in most of the basic fields of study, on top of the Coulson had him studying different languages in some of his off time. Due to all of this highschool came really easy to him.
"Soooo. Y/N is it possible that I could swing by your place after school? I really need a tutor to help me study before our finals"

"Yeah sure. My Stepfather is still out on work so he won't get back until tomorrow I think."
