Freen  POV

Freen: Is it a boy? Our baby is a boy? Oh my God, thank you, doc, I said, tearing up.

Doctor: Yes, Ms. Chamkimha, it's a baby boy, and he's healthy. I'll leave you for now, and my secretary will come by later to inform you about the vitamins and your next check-up. Again, congratulations.

We thanked the doctor as she left the clinic. Becky and I looked at each other, and I could see her happiness. She suddenly hugged me tightly.

Becky: Baby, thank you. Because of you, I'm going to have a family. I love you and our baby so much. I promise that , I will never leave  and hurt  you, she said, sobbing.

Freen: Bec, I love you so much too. Thank you for coming into my life.

While Becky was driving, we were already talking about our plans for the gender reveal. Only our friends would be invited, and Becky planned to do it at a café.

Becky: Darling, should we start shopping for baby clothes? Or maybe we could work on the baby's room? Or we could think of names already? I wonder who the baby will look like , hopefully me, handsome and beautiful," she said, laughing.

Freen: Becbec, it’s still early for that. Maybe when the baby is seven months in my belly, we can start shopping. And please, Bec, don’t go on a buying spree. I know you too well. And who said the baby will look like you? I’m the one carrying him, I said, laughing.

She just rolled her eyes and laughed.

Becky: Whatever, I’ll give everything to the two of you, Freen, no matter who our baby looks like. The most important thing is that he’s healthy.

She took my hand and kissed it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

After 3 weeks of planning for the gender reveal party, here we are at the café with our friends, and my mom also arrived.

All the guests came up to me, congratulating me and gently touching my belly. Irin was taking care of the guests, while Nam and my mom were handling the food. Becky was on her way back because she had to return home to get her phone, which she forgot.

The café was filled with blue and pink decorations. Nam was on Team Blue, while Irin was on Team Pink. When Becky arrived, we started the event.

Becky: Who’s on Team Pink? l she asked, and everyone in pink cheered, with Irindancing in front.

Freen: And who’s on Team Blue? The guests in blue cheered as well, with Nam dancing in front and teasing Irin.

When we popped the balloon, everyone screamed, especially Nam, who immediately came up to me and hugged me.

All the guests were celebrating, and Becky was drinking with some of her business partners. Nam came over to me again and hugged me.

Nam: So, when's the wedding?

I was surprised by Nam’s question because, honestly, Becky and I hadn’t talked about when we would get married.
Freen: We haven’t discussed the wedding yet, Nam. Right now, we just want to focus on the baby.

Nam: That’s okay, Freen. I know you both love each other, so that time will come. You've changed a lot, HAHAHA. Before, you used to hang out with different people, and now you’re head over heels for Becky.

I playfully pinched her side.

Freen: Don’t tease me. I’ve changed a lot since Becky came into my life. I don’t know what it is about her, but whenever I’m with her, I always feel safe. I guess the right person really does come along for each of us and mine was Becky Armstrong .

It was late by the time we finished and got home. I had already taken a shower, and Becky was showering. I fixed our bed, and once Becky was done, she fell asleep right away from exhaustion.
