Manvika stirred awake, her senses immediately alerting her to a gentle touch. As she opened her eyes slowly, the soft morning light illuminated the sight of Rihaan beside her, his fingers lazily twirling strands of her hair. His gaze was intense yet tender, as if he were memorizing every feature of her face. Ritansh lay peacefully on Rihaan’s chest, his tiny body rising and falling with each breath.

Manvika's heart skipped a beat, a rush of embarrassment flooding through her as memories of the night before surfaced. She quickly averted her eyes, unable to meet Rihaan’s adoring gaze. Without a word, she carefully shifted Ritansh and began to slip out of bed, making her way toward the washroom. But just as she reached the edge of the bed, she felt a firm tug on her wrist.

Before she could react, Rihaan had pulled her back, and she fell against his chest with a soft thud. He carefully laid Ritansh down on a pillow before swiftly rolling Manvika beneath him, trapping her under his weight. A playful smirk tugged at his lips as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Good morning, wifey," he whispered, his voice husky as he leaned down and captured her lips in a deep, lingering kiss.

Manvika blushed, her heart racing as she barely managed to murmur, "Good morning."

Rihaan’s hand tightened around her waist as he pulled her even closer, his breath warm against her lips. "Don’t run away from me," he teased, his tongue brushing against her lips in a sensual gesture. "If you try, I’ll only pull you back—closer and closer."

His eyes twinkled with mischief as he glanced downward, then raised his eyebrows suggestively. "They taste very sweet, just like..." he trailed off, leaving the rest of his sentence hanging as he gave her a wicked grin.

Manvika’s face flushed, her mind struggling to keep up with his teasing. But there was a shift in her heart—a realization of how much Rihaan had given her. The love, the care, and the sense of belonging. She gazed into his eyes, her voice soft but sincere as she whispered, "I love you, Mr. Rihaan."

A look of surprise flickered across his face, but it was quickly replaced with a warm smile. He could sense the change in her, the way her walls had finally come down.

“I love you too,” he replied, his voice softer now, more vulnerable.

Manvika smiled and pecked his lips. "Let me cook today’s breakfast for you," she said sweetly, feeling a desire to do something special for him. She slipped out of his hold, freshened up quickly, and headed downstairs to the kitchen.

Rihaan watched her go, feeling a deep sense of contentment. Exhausted from the long nights of work, he allowed himself to fall back asleep.

After preparing their favorite breakfast, Manvika returned to their room with a tray full of food. The sight of her standing there with a tray, her eyes bright with love, made Rihaan smile lazily as he slowly sat up. Ritansh, now fully awake, had already gone to his room to get freshened up.

But Rihaan wasn’t done yet. As soon as Manvika set the tray down, he reached for her, pulling her under him again. "Koi dekh lega," she protested softly, her hands pushing against his chest.

"Shhh," he whispered, pressing a finger to her lips. "Let me live this moment. You’re my wife, and we were married just yesterday, after all."

Manvika blinked in confusion. "Like seriously, it’s been seven years," she laughed, trying once again to push him off.
