The dungeons were a maze of stone corridors, but Carina, Enzo, and Theo made their way through with ease, following the steady flow of students toward their first class: Transfiguration.

"I can't believe we're finally doing this," Enzo said, grinning as they climbed the stairs out of the dungeons and into the bright, open corridors of the castle. "I've been waiting for this moment since I got my letter."

Theo, as usual, kept his cool demeanor, but there was a glint of curiosity in his eyes. "I just hope the professors are as good as they say."

"They better be," Enzo added, adjusting the strap of his bag. "I didn't come all the way to Hogwarts to learn boring magic."

Carina smirked, but there was a hint of uncertainty in her voice. "Honestly, I'm just hoping I can manage to not blow anything up."

Enzo chuckled. "Don't worry, we've got your back. If anything explodes, at least it'll be interesting."

Theo nodded with a small smile. "Let's just try not to get kicked out on the first day."The trio reached the classroom early, the hustle and bustle of students around them growing louder as everyone filed in. Carina spotted the familiar sight of Draco, already seated at the front with Crabbe and Goyle on either side of him, while Pansy and Daphne took up seats toward the middle.

As Enzo and Carina took their seats in the middle of the room together, and Theo sat on the table next to them with Matteo, they heard a sudden burst of laughter coming from the doorway. Carina turned to see Ron Weasley and Harry Potter, both looking out of breath as they hurried in.

"We made it," Ron panted, leaning over to Harry. "Can you imagine the look on old McGonagall's face if we were late?"

Just as Ron finished his sentence, there was a small meow from the front of the room. Carina blinked, her eyes landing on a sleek tabby cat sitting perfectly still on the professor's desk. She tilted her head, wondering what a cat was doing in the classroom when, without warning, the cat morphed into Professor McGonagall herself, standing tall and stern as she looked directly at Ron and Harry.

The room fell silent.

"That was bloody brilliant," Ron whispered to Harry, still in awe of the transformation.

McGonagall's sharp voice cut through the room, her expression unreadable. "Thank you for that assessment, Mr. Weasley. Perhaps it would be more useful if I were to transfigure Mr. Potter and yourself into a pocket watch. That way, one of you might be on time."
