The sun hung low in the sky as Carina and her group of Slytherin friends strolled through the courtyard, the cool autumn air filling the stone pathways. The courtyard was buzzing with students heading to their next classes or enjoying the free time, but all Carina could think about was the news that had spread like wildfire.

"Look at you!" Enzo said with a grin, walking alongside her. "Youngest Chaser in Hogwarts history. You've made it, Gray."

Carina smirked, a rush of pride filling her chest. "I guess I did."

Draco, who was walking slightly ahead of the group with his usual swagger, glanced back at her. There was a flicker of something in his eyes—jealousy, maybe—but it quickly faded into his usual smirk. "Youngest Chaser," he muttered, though his tone was a little clipped. "Not bad, Carina. I'm impressed."

Carina raised an eyebrow. "Jealous, Malfoy?"

Draco snorted, but his smirk widened. "Hardly. Just means I'll have to make sure everyone knows I'm still the best."

Carina chuckled, shaking her head. "Good luck with that."

Blaise Zabini, who had been walking beside Draco, gave a lazy smile. "Better you than me, honestly. All that flying and chasing a ball? Seems like a lot of effort."

"I agree," Mattheo Riddle added, a subtle grin on his face as he looked at Carina. "But if anyone's going to make Slytherin proud, it's you. Congrats."

"Thanks," Carina replied, her smile widening as her friends congratulated her. It was a good feeling—being recognized for something, even if it was unexpected.

As they turned a corner into one of the long hallways leading toward the Great Hall, the familiar sound of laughter echoed through the corridor. Carina looked up just in time to see Fred and George Weasley heading their way, their expressions mischievous as always.

"Well, well, well," Fred said as they approached, stopping in front of the group with his arms crossed. "If it isn't Slytherin's newest Chaser."

George, standing beside his twin, grinned. "Youngest Chaser ever, too. Quite the accomplishment."

Carina smirked, her arms folding across her chest. "Surprised to see me playing Quidditch?"

Fred tilted his head, his eyes gleaming with playful challenge. "Not surprised, no. But don't think we'll go easy on you just because you're the only Slytherin we can tolerate."

"Yeah," George added with a wink. "On the pitch, you're just another opponent. You might want to keep an eye on us."

Carina raised an eyebrow, amused. "Is that a warning?"

"More like a heads-up," Fred replied, his grin widening. "You won't see us coming."

Carina chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll be watching."

George clapped Fred on the shoulder. "Good. We wouldn't want you to miss the show."

With identical grins, the twins turned and walked away, their laughter echoing down the hall.

Enzo, watching the exchange with amusement, nudged Carina's shoulder. "You know, it's kind of impressive how well you handle those two. I've heard they don't normally give Slytherins that much attention."
