Carina Gray is a sharp-witted, fiercely loyal Slytherin with a knack for mischief and a heart of gold she tries hard to keep hidden. Known for her bold sense of humor and unwavering courage, she isn't afraid to stand up for her friends, even if it m...
Carina's room is chaos. Clothes are strewn across her bed, her suitcase lies half-packed on the floor, and Carina stands in front of her mirror, frantically curling her hair.
From the room next door, Sirius is also causing a commotion. Loud bangs and the sound of him muttering under his breath drift through the walls.
Carina groans. "Why is it that I can never find anything when I actually need it?"
Her door bursts open, and Sirius storms in, holding a comb in one hand and a shirt in the other, his hair half-brushed. "Have you seen my dragon-hide boots? I swear I left them right here!"
Carina stares at him incredulously. "Why would I know where your boots are? I can't even find my wand!"
From downstairs, Remus leans casually against the front door, fully dressed in a neat suit, his hair combed and his small travel bag slung over his shoulder. He calls up the stairs, his voice carrying a slight smirk. "Maybe you'd both be ready by now if you'd woken up earlier."
Carina leans out of her room, her wand finally in hand. "Moony, please help me! My dress is wrinkled, my suitcase is a disaster, and Sirius is stealing my sanity!"
"Nope." Remus grins. "This is what happens when you don't listen to me. I told you last night—get ready before bed. But no, you were too busy debating which cloak would 'match your vibe.'"
Sirius appears in the hallway, his shirt half-buttoned, his hair an absolute mess. "For the record, I told her the emerald-green cloak was the best choice, but she wouldn't listen to me either."
Carina tosses her wand into her bag and glances at him in disbelief. "Sirius, you were no help! You spent half the time trying on my scarves!"
"They looked good on me," Sirius replies with a shrug.
Remus laughs from downstairs. "You two are impossible."
Finally, after more frantic rushing and bickering, both Carina and Sirius reach the front door at the same time, coming from opposite directions. Their hair is styled, their bags are packed, and they both look utterly exhausted.
"Ready?" Remus asks, grinning from ear to ear.
Carina and Sirius cross their arms simultaneously, glaring at him. "Don't start," they say in unison.
Remus blinks, looking between them. "Oh no. There's two of them." He sighs dramatically and gestures outside. "Come on, let's go. We're already late."
The trio walks along the road toward their meeting point with the others. Sirius is carrying both his bag and Carina's, grumbling under his breath about how heavy it is.
