The engagement party was supposed to be a fun celebration with family and friends. Keith had been so excited as were you. You both had a blast planning it out and you enjoyed finding the decorations.
Keith however wasn't feeling well. Of course the day of the party while the both of you are setting up. Keith seems way more tired than normal.

However when you ask him about it. He just brushes you off and tells you not to worry because he knows you always do. By the time the party starts.

Keith looks so exhausted and sickly. You urge him to head to bed. "Just go lay down for a few minutes you'll be ok. You need rest."

Keith looks around nervously at everyone mingling and chatting with each other.
"No one will notice for a few minutes." You tell him.
He nods and coughs into his sleeve. He heads a up to bed to rest for a few minutes.

He needed all the rest he could get in between touring, album releases and now getting married it was taking a toll on him.

You entertained the guests while Keith sleeps upstairs for a while.

Later
You go upstairs to check on Keith to see how he's feeling.

He's still asleep in bed.

You smile at his sleeping form you go to kiss his head and ruffle his hair.

"Mm babe stop." He mumbles.

"I thought you were asleep." You say with a chuckle.

"I was until you started messing with my hair." He replied.

He rolled over in bed to face you.

"How are you feeling now?" You ask.

"Not good I feel worse now than earlier if possible." He says

You feel his forehead.
"Hm, you've got a fever. You can stay up here. Ok?" You say.

He nods and curls up in bed.
You kiss his head then leave him to rest and return to the party.

Even though Keith had to miss the rest of the party you made up a little get together for friends and family once he felt better!
