Morgan's POV

I watched as he walked out of the ship and knew I had to do something. She's my sister for heaven's sake! I turned towards the two stormtroopers and spoke in a confident voice, "You will remove these binds and let me off the ship."

Both repeated the sentence back to me and did as they were instructed. An old jedi mind trick. Simple, but effective.

As soon as I was off the ship, I ran for the forest. Never mind that my body ached, and my bullet wound hurt like hell. Rey was trapped somewhere in the forest.

The dense trees blocked my vision of the chaos ensuing outside of the forest. I could hear the TIE fighter blasters above me, but I didn't stop. I couldn't. I couldn't let Rey get hurt because of me.

My mind was reeling as I searched for her force presence. I had no idea that she was a force user. Granted it had been 7 years since I had seen her, but even then, I couldn't tell.

I followed the pull of the force when suddenly I heard a blaster going off. I ran as fast as I could towards the sound, and I saw Kylo cornering Rey with his lightsaber. He froze her using the force and turned to look at me.

"Take one more step and I'll kill her," he said, holding his lightsaber close to her neck. I saw pure terror in Rey's eyes as she glanced between me and Kylo.

"Rey," I whispered quietly, tears filling my eyes. There was no way I was going to let Kylo hurt her. He held his hand to her head and forced his way into her mind.

"You've seen the map."

I let out a whimper.

Kylo turned to look at me. "Ahh, you didn't know did you? That droid met up with your sister on Jakku where your family abandoned her," recognition filled Rey's eyes as she looked at me. "She's seen the map."

Just then, a stormtrooper came up from behind me. I dared not move in case Kylo decided to hurt Rey. "Sir, we need more troops. The Resistance is overpowering us."

"Pull the troops out. We have what we need," he said looking at Rey.

"NO! Kylo no!" I moved my hand out to push him back with the force, but he predicted my movement and threw me onto my back, reopening my bullet wound. I saw stars as I fell backwards, and I cried out. I heard his lightsaber move through the air.

He pulled me up by the force and I saw that he had used his lightsaber to singe Rey's clothes. "Next time I won't be so nice." He moved his hand across her forehead before putting her to sleep. He caught her in his arms and used the force to pull me along.

He knew I could easily escape from his force hold, but I refused. I was so scared what he would do to Rey if I did. Not to mention I was in an immense amount of pain from my bullet wound.

As we left the forest and made our way towards Kylo's transporter, I saw the Resistance X-wings fighting off the TIE fighters. I also her a loud growling noise that sounded like...Chewbacca. I turned my head slightly towards the left and there Han Solo and Chewbacca were. Standing next to them was a tall, dark man wearing Poe's jacket! Why was he wearing Poe's jacket?

The man seemed to know Rey because as he saw Kylo about to board the transporter with Rey, he screamed out for her and unsheathed a blue lightsaber. But not just any blue lightsaber, Luke's! He charged after Kylo causing him to lose his force grip on me and I fell to the ground.

The man finally reached Kylo who had passed Rey to one of his stormtroopers just in time to throw the man with the force making the lightsaber fly in the air. I used the force to pull it towards me and face Kylo, pure rage pulsing through me.

Kylo's face was blocked by his mask, but I could feel through the dyad that for the first time, he feared me. Disregarding all my jedi training, I swung after him, letting the rage guide me. He tried his best to deflect my moves as I cornered him into the transporter. He fell backwards up the ramp and just as I was about to strike my final blow, I heard Kylo's voice echo through my head, "If you strike me down, you will begin your journey towards the dark side." I could feel the genuine concern and warning in his words. It wasn't about him losing his life, it was about me losing mine to the dark side.

I gasped and stumbled backwards, horrified with how I had let my rage consuming. Seeing his chance, Kylo scrambled up the ramp and closed the door to the transporter taking Rey with him.
