Morgan's POV

As soon as the transporter door closed, I felt Han and Chewbacca from behind me.

"Morgan, is that really you." I turned around as tears filled my eyes. Sheathing the lightsaber, I jumped into Hans' arms and broke down.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I couldn't save him. I couldn't do it."

"It's ok kid, it's ok. It's not your fault. Are you ok?" Concern filled his eyes as he saw the blood on the back of my robes. I shook my head as stars appeared in my vision. As the adrenaline left my body, I felt myself slipping away.

"Ben," I laughed as he pushed me back using the force.

"What," he giggled back. "You said to try. Now I'm trying. But you're still going to beat me. You're the most talented Jedi there has ever been."
I shook my head. "I think that title belongs to your grandfather." Ben's eyes darkened.

"You mean the man that caused the downfall of the empire and sent the galaxy into despair and darkness. I don't think he was a great Jedi. He was a coward who let his emotions get ahead of him."

I looked down. "You know I didn't mean it like that. He ended up saving Master Luke in the end along with the whole galaxy."

"I guess," he sheathed his lightsaber, and I sheathed mine. I walked towards him and wrapped my arm around his bicep, resting my head on his shoulder. "I just...I'm so afraid to become like him. Sometimes... sometimes I feel a pull to the dark side."

I sighed. "I feel it too Ben. The pull to the dark side. But do you want to know what else I feel? A strange connection between the two of us. I think...I think it might be a dyad."
"A dyad?" he asked.

"In sacred Jedi textbooks there's this thing called a Dyad. It's basically a force connection between two force users. They can sense the other's presence, feel the other's emotions. It makes the force users one in the force. A perfect balance. A ying and a yang. It's unbreakable."

"And you think we might have... this connection?" My heart fluttered as he turned to stare at me. From the minute I saw him I had developed a crush on him. Of course I would never tell him. Attachment is forbidden to the Jedi.

"I think so. I just...don't know how to...you know...open it." His stare was getting more intense.

"I think I might," he whispered as he slowly leaned in and placed his lips on mine. I knew it was so wrong. We shouldn't have been kissing, but it was the most blissful thing I had ever experienced. It felt so warm, and I could feel a light expanding from my chest and surrounding me and Ben. It was our dyad.

I'm not sure how long we stood there holding each other and kissing, but when we pulled away, I smiled at him and whispered, "Do you feel that?"

He nodded his head. "Our connection can never be severed now," he whispered, planting a chaste kiss on my lips.

The beeping of the medical droid woke me from my memories. Leia was sitting in a chair next to my bed. Han was sitting next to her, his arm wrapped around her shoulders.

"Are you feeling better," Leia whispered.

I nodded my head slowly. Something was pressing at my conscious, but I couldn't remember what. There was someone who needed me. Rey!

"Where's Rey?! Have you guys found her yet?! Is she safe?!" I quickly sat up and pushed the med droid away. The pain in my back had subsided and I stood from the bed.

Leia and Han shared a look at each other. "We've tracked her to a First Order weapon the size of a planet. It's called Starkiller Base. The First Order is planning on using it to eliminate everyone in the Empire."

I shook my head. "No! No! No! When do they plan to attack?"

"We estimate in the next 24 hours. We have intel from a former Storm Trooper who informed us that the weapon takes 24 hours to charge."

"Well then, we have to stop it! Han, do you still have the Millennium Falcon? Where's Poe? And who is this Storm Trooper?"

Leia walked over to the door and pulled it open. Poe was outside pacing up and down. Upon seeing me, he ran and gave me a hug, pulling me close.

"Poe! I'm so happy to see you alive. I saw this guy wearing your jacket and I was so worried you had died and—" he cut me off by kissing me softly.

"You were worried about me," he guffawed, "I was worried about you! You were literally held captive by Kylo Ren. And about my jacket, I gave it to my new friend. His name is Finn, and he was the one who helped me escape the Finalizer."

"Well thank the stars for him!" I pulled him tighter to me.

"So, what's the plan?" Poe asked, pulling away from me.

"Well long story short, that Monster has my sister, and we need to get her back," a look of confusion crossed Poe's face.

"You have a sister?"

"Yes."

"Why did you never tell me that?" He looked genuinely hurt and took a few steps back. Han coughed in the corner to try and clear the tension.

"I just...it's painful. I hadn't seen her in years until today."

"No! You don't just keep that a secret from me. I've been your boyfriend for three years now. That's not something you hide from someone you love. I thought we told each other everything. I guess that was just one-sided." He made a move to walk away from me, but I grabbed his hand.

"Poe, wait! I'm really sorry. It's just...when I used to be a Jedi, I was taught attachment is forbidden. I wasn't allowed to have contact with my family. I don't even know where my parents are. I was shocked to see Rey is still alive."

"But you couldn't have told me?! Seriously?! And all that weird stuff that happened in the Finalizer. You were acting like you and that Ren guy had a past. Did you...did you know him before? Don't lie to me again."

I sighed, "Yes. We... have a past." The look of betrayal on Poe's face was too much for me to take. He pulled his arm away from me and stormed off.

I turned around, sheepishly looking at Han and Leia. They looked at me with sympathy.

"Han, do you still have the Falcon?" He nodded his head.

"Then I have a plan."
