Let Me Show You the Ways of the Dark Side

Kylo Ren's POV

"Get out of my head," Rey yelled. I felt myself being pushed back by the force. Just as Rey said that the blast door opened and Morgan came into the room, her eyes full of hatred.

"Trying to intimidate my sister. That's typical of you. You coward," She spat at me. She used the force to release Rey's binds and pushed me against the wall. "Rey, go! I want to deal with him myself." I saw Rey hesitate, but she stayed, refusing to leave her sister's side.

I pushed with all my might against Morgan's force hold but it was too strong. Pure rage spurred her on as her hold on me became tighter and I felt my esophagus closing. "Morgan stop! You can't let the hatred win! You're better than that!" Rey looked terrified as she watched her sister. Morgan's eyes flashed yellow before she finally let me fall to the floor.

"Let's go," she whispered to Rey. "Let him die with the weapon he created."

They walked out of the room, neither one sparing a second glance towards me. I gasped on the ground. They were headed for the bridge. And...my father was there. I got up as quickly as I could, running for the bridge.

There was still time to bring Morgan to the dark side. To have her join me. I just needed her to want revenge. I could sense her presence as I walked onto the bridge. She was in the shafts standing beside her sister. They both watched as Han Solo walked onto the bridge to meet me. He gave them both a nod as if to reassure them that this was the right thing. I pitied him.

"Ben," my father yelled.

"Han Solo. I've been waiting for this day for a long time."

"Take off that mask, you don't need it."

"What do you think you'll see if I do."

"The face of my son," my father walked towards me with his arms outstretched, beckoning me to the light side. The pull towards the light had grown ever stronger since the dyad had reopened and as I stood face to face with my father, I was conflicted.

I reached my hands up and took my mask off. "Your son is gone," I said, anger filling me to dispel the light.

"Snoke is using you. Once he gets what he wants he'll crush you," he took a few more steps towards me. "You know it's true."

I could feel the emotions bubbling inside me. I knew at some point Snoke would want to dispose of me, but he was the only person who was currently on my side. My father, my mother, and most of all Morgan, would never forgive me for what I had done.

"No, it's not. Leave here with me. Come home," I could hear Morgan gasp. She could feel the shift in my heart. She could feel that I was being pulled to the light. I couldn't let this happen. She needed to join me on the dark side once and for all. Then and only then could we be together.

"I know what I have to do I just don't know if I have the strength to do it. Will you help me?" I held out my lightsaber to my father.

"Yes, anything." He grabbed the lightsaber. I slowly turned it towards him and pierced the blade through his body. His hand brushed my face just before his body fell. I heard Morgan and Rey cry out before I felt a bullet pierce me in the stomach. Chewie growled.

"Let's go," Morgan yelled as she grabbed Rey. Chewie quickly followed her.

I could feel the planet beginning to implode, but I needed to reach Morgan. Anger was the only emotion she was feeling. It consumed her. I had her right where I wanted her.

I chased her through the forest, banging on my chest every so often to let the blood from my wound fall onto the snow. I heard her telling Rey, Chewie, and the defected Storm Trooper to board the Millenium Falcon.

"Let me show you the ways of the dark side," I whispered to her.

She pulled her lightsaber from her belt and clashed it with mine. "Not a chance."

"I can feel the anger emanating off you. Give in," I whispered. Her eyes shone bright against the blue of Luke's saber.

"I would rather die than join you," She pushed my lightsaber to the ground just as the roar of the Millenium Falcon sounded behind her.

"Morgan c'mon. This place is going to blow," Rey called out.

She grabbed Rey's hand, leaving me alone on the planet.
