I yearn to be that rose of your life:-
which was given by him when he proposed,
that rose which sends butterflies all over your mind and makes your heart flutter,
that rose which turned even redder in shade due to blushing when you held it for the first time,
that rose which is far beyond lucky
to reach your soft lips and be kissed by you;
that rose which is a precious token
of yours lover's love;
that rose which you later kept precisely in your favourite book,
I crave to be that rose even if it was plucked and even if it is dead—
Just never say that you don't like roses!

I really envy that rose which has the pleasure to stay near you,
that meant precious to you,
that is your favourite;
I want to be that heavenly rose even if it means to be plucked,
even if it costs me death!
After all, what's the fun in living the life that seems dead without you?
Instead, I prefer to be in the place of that dead rose which might surely feel more lively than me —
just by being near you!!
