Chapter-21

3rd Person POV

Taehyung had visited Mina's house during the middle of the week on Wednesday so Taehyung was again invited to Mina's home this Saturday for lunch followed by a stay over as the next day was a Sunday.

Mina had planned on a picnic with her family on Sunday and included Taehyung as well as she thought that all her family members could also bond with him. Mina's husband in particular wanted to meet Taehyung to thank him for saving his wife earlier. He wanted to know about Taehyung cuz his wife would never stop talking about his character, attitude, respect for others, his helping nature and mostly importantly about the way he looked, she thought he looked like an angel would have surely gotten him married to her daughter if at all she had one.

She still thought or actually wanted one of her sons to be gay for Taehyung so they could get married, in that way she could have her family complete. But otherwise also Mina considered Taehyung to be a part of her family and never treated him differently.

And for Taehyung, he always looked at Mina as a motherly figure. After talking and spending alot of time he actually thinks of her as his mother, cuz she treats him the same way his own mother treated. She knew what he wanted at what time and looked after him like a baby.

So when Mina invited him for lunch he was more than excited and was packing his baggage with full of zeal.
Since he didn't know where they were going but he chose to not ask since he wanted some suspense.
So then he was packing a pair of extra clothes excluding the one he would change into on Sunday. Then he also packed some swim wear and prepared some other snacks for Mina and Woo, which he wanted to give them on Saturday when he went for lunch.
Once all his packing and other stuff were done he decided to watch some TV and call it a day but he received a call.

He was kinda surprised to see Jungkook calling him at that hour and especially today, since Jungkook mostly called Taehyung when he was abroad for some recording and other programs but they never really talked via call when he was in Korea.
When Jungkook was in Seoul he would go visit the cafe during closing hours so he could talk to Taehyung privately without the presence of his hyungs. Mostly Jungkook would ask Taehyung to come home and that's how they spent time together when Jungkook was in Seoul otherwise they spent most of their times calling each other but seeing him call him suddenly that too when he was in Seoul, he thought it was maybe urgent.

Hey Tae hungie !

Hello Kookie, how are you doing ? All okay ?

I'm fine hyungie but why did you ask that. I'm absolutely fine.

Nicee. Since you called me all of a sudden I was just thinking ! That's all....

Ahh hyung who else will I call other than you, tell me. You're the best!

Haha really good to hear that kookie. Now tell me seriously why did you call, huh ?

Hmmm... Hyungie I thought if we could meet, you know it's been long since we last hung out so. I wanted to ask you .

Kookie !!! Seriously we just met on Tuesday watched movie and I stayed back at your place, I know that was not planned but still and you dropped me off at the cafe day before yesterday and it's not that long i guess.
But still even I wanna meet you, so tell me when are you free I'll drop by ?

Tae... Hyungie... I have some recording today with the members can we meet tomorrow for lunch ?

Tomorrow? Wait what's the day tomorrow? Ah it's a Saturday.... Ohhh no we can't meet tomorrow kookie I'm going out with mom for lunch then some picnic on Sunday. I'm really sorry kookie. We'll meet some other time ? I promise I'll make it up to you !!!

Ohh.... It's ok hyung we'll meet some other time then.
Jungkook was sad after tae refused to meet him even thought it was something genuine he felt sad. He wanted to spend some more time with Taehyung and realise his feelings for him, he wanted to confirm how he felt. And most importantly he wanted to know how how the older boy felt for him. So the best way to find out all this was yo spend more time with each other where they would have their own sweet little moments.

Kookie don't be sad.... I'll go your place to meet you as soon as I return from the picnic ok.
If you're sad, then I'll feel sad too.
And also we can talk to each other and even facetime okay ? So that we won't miss each other more than what we would if we wouldn't keep in touch.

Ok hyungie enjoy your day with your family we'll meet when you're back.

Jungkook wanted to spend time with him. Due to his recordings and busy schedule they couldn't text or call each other as much as they did earlier and Jungkook missed all of those times, the time he spent with his Taehyungie.
He was a little disappointed after Tae politely denied the meet-up since he had a family lunch followed by a picnic. He knew that Taehyung wanted to spend time with his family cuz he knew how much he missed especially because he moved to Seoul in his life way long ago. He had a void which could never be filled by anyone and Jungkook could very well related with him because he knew how it felt, how it felt to be separated from your parents at such a young age. For their group debut Jungkook had to leave his family at the age of 13 and from then on he lived separately with other members at the dorm.
But the other members treated him very dearly like their own little brother, and took good care of them. He was very much attached to them, at this point he doesn't treat the members just as fellow members of the band but considers them as his own family.
