I hear the familiar tapping. The tapping gets to me. I know what it means and I know what he wants. To talk. I wake up in my own bed to the stupid cliché of tiny rocks being thrown at my window.
Karly took a piece of me and she'll always have that but I'm starting to accept that I can't do anything about this and I need to worry about moving on and graduating.
I'm bawling, it's like those times where you cry about one thing then all the problems flood in and you can't stop it.
I loved my dad...when he was sober. Which happened some nights, but even after he came back from rehab he's still drinking, I doubt he even went at all. He could of taken all his money and went to Brazil to get drunk and sleep with...randoms. He's only brought home a girl once but I know she wasn't the only one. I want him to be happy and find a new wife, and she definitely wasn't her. Sherri was her name I'm guessing, my dad called her cherry and she smelled of cigarettes and Febreze. I don't understand my father.
As for Ethan and his rocks, I haven't talked to him in weeks. He's probably wondering what happened. My dad came home wondering where I was, and I was at Ethan's house. Then i came home and, my dad lashed out at me. It's reasonable because I've been sleeping at a guys house. After that he left the house angry He came home late and he threw something and slammed the door. He's done this once before, the night of moms death. I was just a tiny 6th grader when this happened but I know where he's going with this. I stay in my room hopefully he won't come up; he's awful when he's drunk. i hear him shuffling downstairs then his loud feet up the stairs. Then his door opens and shuts.
"thank god"
Then my door swings open terrifying me.
"Dad go to bed." I tell him.*and then her dad walks into her room and strangles her* when he wakes up and finds his dead daughter he decides to actually go to rehab. But oh well he goes to prison for manslaughter.
Ethan loses his first love but he soon finds another, she's really pretty and a basketball player.
Everyone eventually moves on because death doesn't stop anything it just delays things for awhile.
And the world keeps spinning and people will continue dying.
