Still Friends?

I wake up get ready and text Ethan to see if he is ready to leave.

"Just ride the bus." he texts back. I wonder what his deal is. Totally bipolar. I laugh. Don't you hate when you laugh out loud from something in your head.

I grab my stuff and hurry to get to the bus.

I sit next to Jasmine and we do our normal Monday talk. You know " I hate Monday"and"It's to early." us and our complaints.

I put my stuff away and walk into history class. On the way in I see Jay talking to Shai.

Shai, pretty, preppy, and super popular. Also she is Ethan's ex girlfriend.

Man I hate her she is snobby and rude.

Why is she talking to Jay. He's not exactly the best looking and that's all Shai cares about.

Haha Jay is totally flirting with her.

I walk in class before my staring catches anyone's attention.

I sit down next to Destiny.

Jay walks in and instead of sitting next to me and cracking stupid jokes, he sits next to Drew and Kory. Other guys who are popular.

Man Jay must have gotten some serious attention.

No big deal I'll just talk to Destiny.

By the end of the stupid history video, the bell rings. Still Jay didn't say one thing to me.

What happened.

When we get into the hallway I hit him on the shoulder." He mr. popular. what's up with you?"

" Well at Bridget's party me and Drew we're talking and then he introduced me to Shai."

"Shai is pretty,well, umm, pretty."

"Yeah we are just talking, and stuff." he walks off before I can say anything.

Whatever,i'll text him later.

Today we have t run laps. After I change me and Jasmine go to the track.

She hates running, and she runs like a fairy. I like running not like crazy long distance, but running is cool.

I hear coach blow the whistle, and we start to run, well at least I do. I lap Jazzy and then start to jog with her. After twenty minutes of jogging, we go to the locker rooms to fix our hair.

After Mr. Warner's class I decide to go to lunch. I sit next to Karly.

"Have you talked to Jay today?" I ask.

"No he's to "popular" to talk to me."she says.

"Yeah I noticed, its weird."

"It's not that weird."

"It's pretty weird." I say eating my sandwich.

"Whatcha girls talking about?" Asks Bridget sitting down.

"Just Jay." I say.

"Ooooohhh." she says winking at me.

" I don't like him. Why do you guys think that." I say glaring at her." Besides him and Shai have been talking."

"Girl you jealous." she says.

"Why would I be jealous ?" I say.

" Oh yeah, why would she be jealous when she has Ethan." Karly say budding into the conversation.

"You know what? I can't take this."

I grab my sandwich and leave.

I don't like Jay, I don't like Ethan, and he doesn't like me.
