I don't know about me and Jay. Are we still friends?

I get home and beg my dad one more time to let me go to the movies. He won't budge.

I finish my homework, and listen to music.

After I eat dinner, I decide to finish rereading divergent one more time and then go to bed.

I hear a familiar tapping but I ignore it.

Then I hear a thud and the opening of my window. I look and see Ethan in my room,holding his finger to his mouth, telling me to be quiet.

" What are you doing?" I whisper yell.

"Just be quiet and get dressed and meet me at my front door in ten minutes."

" What are we doing?" I ask nervous.

" Come on trust me and take a risk for once."

I don't know what to do. My dad would kill me, but Ethan has never done this.

Maybe I will take his advice.

I'm going to take a risk.

I throw some pants on and a sweater.

I quietly walk downstairs, I wish the stairs didn't creak.

I reach the front door, and quietly open it. I go to Ethan standing next to his car.

" What is happening? where are we going?"

" I thought you wouldn't come." He says smiling.

"Yeah well, I'm here now tell me what we are doing."

"We're going on our first date." he says.

Oh my god!!!! I'm so happy and blushing. Our first date. does that mean we are dating?

"If that's ok with you?" he asks.

"Oh, it's fine with me. where are we going?" I ask trying not to blush.

" We're going to see divergent."

"Oh, my dad is going to kill me."

"Don't worry you will be back soon. And take a risk."

" I know, but the movie is two and a half hours long."

I say.

The movie starts at 11.

"Then we have more time." he says.

"Ok." I get in his car and we drive to the movies.

When we get there the line is super long. I don't want to wait.

"Ugh." I say.

" I already have tickets." he says.

I still can't believe that we are going on a date.

" Great, um, I have a question."

"Yeah? what is it?" he asks looking at me.

" Why did you take me here? or umm why-" I get cut off.

" I new you wanted to come see the movie, I had an extra ticket, and to celebrate my B in math."

"Sweet you got a B?"

"Yeah, and I guess I wanted to hang out."

I smile and we walk into the theatre we buy a popcorn and some sodas.

We go find a perfect spot, in the back, before everyone else comes in.

We sit down and watch the previews roll on.
