Anthony didn't know how he felt about moving in with the Ripley family. Derek told him it would be wonderful having Caleb, Brett, and Claire around it would be like having siblings his age. The idea sounded good but he just wasn't convinced.

"Hey kiddo you got everything packed?" Derek popped his head into Anthony's room.

"What's it look like? there's a shit ton of boxes" he answered rudely.

Derek stepped into the room all the way "care to change your attitude? Or would you like my assistance in adjusting it?" Derek tapped his belt.

"Sorry" Anthony mumbled

"I really wish you could see the benefits this move is going to have on our lives" Derek sighed.

"It's not the move so much that I'm afraid it's hard to explain, for a long time it was momma, you and me, then momma died and it was just you and me," Anthony took a shaky breath in before continuing.

"I knew you would date and I was okay with sharing you with Thomas but now I have to share you with Thomas and 6 other people" Derek finally saw how difficult that could look to a thirteen year old.

"You're right Anthony it is going to be an adjustment period for both of us but remember it's an adjusting period for the twins, for Claire and for all the adults so the important thing is communication." Derek stressed the importance.

"If you feel left out or neglected, you come talk to me. Don't bottle up your feelings. I will make sure that we still have our own time alone, just the two of us" Anthony agreed, Derek and Anthony finished loading the truck of things they were taking to the Ripley house.

"Brett get a move on if that room isn't cleared out in 30 mins you can spend the rest of the afternoon with a very sore backside." Zach yelled at him getting exasperated with the teen.

Brett was upset because he had to move rooms, he didn't mind sharing a room with Caleb but why couldn't Caleb move into his room? It was so unfair.

Caleb came into Brett's room throwing himself on the now stripped bed. "Need any help?" He offered.

"Get out of my room" Brett growled.

Caleb looked hurt "sorry I was just trying to help, besides it's not your room anymore it's Anthony's and Thomas just told me they are on their way. They will be here in 15 minutes'' Caleb started to leave the room withdrawing his offer of help.

"Caleb I'm sorry I shouldn't take it out on you. It just sucks moving out of my room" Caleb went and hugged his twin.

"Come on I'm not that bad '' he teased.

"Trust me it's not you. Wouldn't you be ticked if you had to give up your room?" Caleb laughed like Brett said the funniest thing.

"Dude are you serious, how much do you complain you have to come use my bathroom because Claire is always in there forever. The three of us sharing a bathroom? Forget it, let Anthony deal with it."

Brett thought for a moment "ya your right I guess I didn't think of it in that way" he looked around at the amount of things that still needed to be done, furrowed his brow and groaned "Zach is going to whip my ass there's no way I can get this cleaned out in time"

Claire walked into Caleb's room. "I can help if we move fast we can get it done" the twins smiled and the three moved faster than they ever had.

They were doing the last of the cleaning, Claire was vacuuming while the boys wiped everything down when Thomas walked in the room followed by Derek and Anthony.
