Chapter 15: Ugly

The next few weeks went by fast. Anthony fit in great at the school he was as popular as the twins were. Claire hadn't told anyone but she was having some issues with a few girls at school. On top of that Brett, Caleb and Anthony had a great time teasing her and just getting on her nerves as all brothers like to do.

"Hey Claire, have you turned into a boy yet? You live with a bunch of guys so you must be a boy" Trisha laughed and her stupid minions laughed with her.

"If she's a boy she makes an ugly boy" Leslie added

"She's an even uglier girl," Trisha sneered.

Claire slammed her locker closed and tried to walk away but Trisha grabbed her arm and flung her back into the lockers. "Ugly bitch" she laughed as she and her friends tried walking away.

Claire was furious and had it with Trisha, Claire ran and slammed Trisha to the ground punching her. Trisha screamed and covered her face so Claire couldn't hit it but Claire punched her stomach so hard she moved her hands and Claire punched her in the eye just as she was being pulled off of Trisha by a couple teachers.

Claire struggled out of the teachers hands "get the fuck off me" she screamed turning around and found herself face to face with Thomas.

Derek was helping Trisha up; she was crying and telling him Claire attacked her for no reason. "THATS A FUCKING LIE" Claire screamed

"Claire Ripley, my office NOW!" Derek yelled at her. He handed Trisha over to another teacher to take her to the nurse then to the principal's office to explain her side of the story. Thomas followed Derek to his office.

Claire was sunk down in a chair tapping her foot. As soon as the door closed Claire started yelling "IT WASN'T MY FAULT TRISHA AND HER MINIONS ARE BITCHES" she screamed at Thomas and Derek.

Derek pulled her up from the chair and smacked her bottom five times hard. Claire wiggled and whimpered.

"Stop it. It wasn't my fault" she lowered her voice.

"If you want me to listen to your side of the story then stop screaming and cursing you know that kind of language is not allowed in our household" Derek scolded her.

"Claire, what did Trisha do to upset you so much?" Thomas asked her. Claire didn't want to admit she was being bullied; she felt like it would make her look weak.

"She's just a bit.... I just don't like her" Claire caught herself before she said something to get herself in deeper trouble.

"Claire that is not an explanation young lady, you better have something other than you not liking her. I guarantee Zach will have a field day on your backside for fighting especially if you're not defending yourself." Thomas warned her.

But Claire was stubborn and decided to just shut down. Soon the principal came to Derek's office to say Trisha and her friends all said Claire jumped on her for no reason they were just walking by laughing. Claire refused to answer any questions so the principal was forced to suspend her.

Thomas had to go back to his classroom so Derek agreed to take the afternoon off and take her home. Thomas called Zach and Glen to let them know what had happened. Claire stared out the window of Derek's car.

"Claire when we get home I want you to put your backpack away and change out of your uniform then come downstairs to the living room. Thomas contacted Zach and Glen and they both want to have a talk with you over the phone." Claire rolled her eyes and looked back out the window, she felt a sting to her thigh as Derek slapped her thigh to get her attention
