It had been a month since Zach Ripley spanked Johnny; he still hasn't gotten over being mad at Zach for it. Johnny had sent Anthony a text right afterward threatening to take revenge against Zach.
Anthony responded with a warning that messing with his papa was not a good idea and he would just get it worse next time. Johnny scoffed at his warning.
Johnny's grandmother sat him down to talk to him about his mother's plans to move out of the neighborhood they lived in. They told Margaret they wouldn't be available to help Johnny get to and from school anymore, Margaret was going to have to transfer Johnny out of his current school.
"Starting Monday you will be going to the same charter school the Ripley children go to," she told the 13 year old.
Johnny was furious "no fucking way am I'm going to that school. I wont leave my friends. You can't fucking make me go, I'll just drop out" he shouted at her.
"You listen to me young man. I'm tired of your foul mouth and attitude so unless you want a mouth full of soap I suggest you stop cursing at me. You are going to switch schools and if I hear another complaint about it I will call Mr. Ripley over here to teach you another lesson. Now let's go we have to get you fitted for the uniform"
Johnny tightened his fist he was trying to calm down, he didn't want to admit Zach Ripley scared him so he just rolled his eyes at his grandmother "whatever" he stormed out of the room.
Johnny made sure he was just difficult enough to irritate his grandmother but not enough to push her to make a phone call.
Johnny had been riding his bike around the neighborhood when his grandmother texted him to come home. His stomach tied in knots when he saw a familiar truck in the driveway.
He walked in the house to see Zach sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee with his grandmother. "Johnny, it's good to see you again. Anthony has been missing you, I hope you know your welcome at our place anytime"
Johnny felt a pang of guilt for hating this man. He seemed sincere in his invitation but then he remembered what he did to him and he hardened his heart.
"I've been busy" he told him curtly. "Well have a seat I want to talk to you." He gestured to the chair next to him. Just out of defiance he took the chair on the opposite side of Zach. He smirked when he saw Zach's face harden at his actions.
"Young man, I don't suggest you try my patience." He snapped his fingers and pointed to the chair he had told him to sit in originally.
Johnny thought about refusing but the look on Zach's face scared him so he huffed as he obeyed and dramatically threw himself in the chair.
Zach leaned in close to Johnny. "Strike one with the attitude don't make it to three you won't like the consequences. Now I'm here to talk about you starting school on Monday with Anthony and my other kids."
Johnny assumed he was going to threaten him if he got his kids in trouble again.
"I know it must be hard to leave your friends and the school you've gone to for a longtime. Are you doing okay?" Johnny was caught off guard by his question.
Of course he wasn't okay no one ever cared what he wanted. He didn't want to leave his school or his friends. Johnny wasn't going to let Zach know he was struggling.
"It's whatever I could care less school sucks regardless" he folded his arms giving off as much attitude as possible.
"Okay if that's the way you want to play it? I'm here to warn you that I have already arranged with the principle to call me if there is any issues with you at the school. I suggest you behave. I also understand your grades have been awful and that stops now. I will receive a weekly progress report from your teachers so you need to keep up on your grades or we will be talking again." Zach warned him.
