"PLEASE, I PROMISE you'll have fun."
Madeline is currently sat in her bedroom with Tom as they eat ice cream and watch a horror movie, attempting to convince the brooding man to take her ice skating. It's a difficult task. She's almost on the verge of giving up, she can see he's getting annoyed by her incessant rambling.
"One condition." Tom says as he scoops up some ice cream on his spoon and eats it. "I get to take you on a real drive."
"A real drive?" Madeline raises an eyebrow, although behind her confusion is a giddiness because this basically means yes.
"A fast one." Tom smiles, tilting his head. "You'll like it, baby."
"Okay...but where?"
"You'll have to sneak out with me." Tom says with a small smile. "It has to be late so the main roads are quiet."
"Deal."
"Deal." Tom smirks and she grins, hopping up and placing the remnants of her ice cream in Tom's lap as she skips over to her closet to find something to wear.
Madeline settled for a pair of denim shorts over thick black tights and thick grey socks, a long sleeved black top and Tom's large grey hoodie left unzipped. She braids her hair loosely and puts on a grey bobble hat.
Tom raises his eyebrows at her when she turns around with the hat on, "wow..." he laughs into his spoonful of ice cream.
"You don't like it?" Madeline frowns, turning back to the mirror.
"No—it's very sexy." Tom assures her, standing up with the two bowls in his hands and she spins around, showcasing her outfit and he grins slightly. "I like it. A lot." He hums and she smiles, taking the bowls from his hands. "You should wear those shorts more."
"Charming." Madeline snorts as she walks to wash the bowls and then grabs Tom by the hand gently, tugging him out of her apartment.
Madeline decides to run down the stairs, much to Tom's annoyance because he cannot keep up with her in those baggy ass pants...she has no clue how he'll manage ice skating.
When Tom makes it outside, Madeline is leaning against the hood of his van with her arms folded and in impatient look on her beautiful face.
"You are so annoying." Tom rolls his eyes and she grins as he walks up to her, placing his hands on her waist softly. "But you're beautiful, so that makes up for it."
