Sujal and Rishi joined the dining table, still wrapped up in a lighthearted conversation. Chetan smiled at his sons, feeling a warm sense of contentment, and asked, "Sujal, Rishi, how was your day at the office?"
After Sujal's recovery from the accident, he was initially expected to join the family business, which was jointly owned by Chetan and his best friend, Lalit Raheja. However, Sujal had been upfront with his father, admitting that he remembered nothing about business. He feared that joining the company in his current state might even risk its stability.
That's when Rishi had stepped in with a different idea. He suggested Sujal join SR Musics, the music company that Sujal had started but transferred into Rishi's name before the accident, due to the falling out with their father. Sujal had wanted to ensure Rishi had a financial foundation, regardless of his own troubles.
At first, Sujal had refused, hesitant to take any role. But Rishi wouldn't give up, using a bit of emotional blackmail to convince his older brother. Sujal finally agreed, on the condition that he would only act as the face of the company, while Rishi remained the official owner. Rishi reluctantly accepted, grateful just to have his brother on board. Since then, they'd been heading to the office together every morning, discussing deals and recordings. Their bond had deepened as they worked side by side.
"The day was good, Papa," Sujal answered with a smile. "We're planning a music competition throughout Himachal Pradesh. The winner will get to record their first solo album with us. It's keeping us really busy. I didn't realize how much work goes into organizing an event like this," he explained, with a slight smile.
Rishi jumped in with a playful grin, "Big B. keeps frowning at the paperwork and making a crying face until I help him out."
"You're a good brother," Sujal said fondly, giving Rishi a warm look.
Chetan and Veena shared a smile, happy to see their sons so close and enjoying each other's company.
Vasundhara, Piyush's mother, couldn't hide her irritation. She rolled her eyes and said in a taunting tone, "Rishi, are you sure it's a good idea to involve Sujal in the company like this? His lack of knowledge might end up ruining the whole thing."
Rishi turned to face her with a calm but firm smile. "That's okay, Auntie," he replied, "If that happens, we brothers will just raise another company together." His response was light, but there was a quiet confidence behind his words, making it clear that he fully believed in his and Sujal's abilities to overcome any obstacles, no matter what others thought.
Varun, Piyush's younger brother, turned to him with curiosity. "Bhai, I heard the Best Businessman Award is going to be announced in a few days. Is that true?" he asked.
Kashish, who was serving Piyush, chimed in with a confident smile. "Yes, Varun, Piyush ji is one of the contenders this year. I'm absolutely sure he's going to win." She shot a glance at Sujal as she spoke, clearly intending her words as a subtle jab.
