Author's note::: I don't get offended easily for my stories. But this time it made me so angry that I wanted to punch that person.
Let me clear ONE thing about MY stories. I write stories the way I want to read them. I don't write for others. You're reading my stories for free please remember that.
I'm happy if you're enjoying them along with me. I ask for your in-line comments because I want to know if you guys felt the same things about the scenes while reading that I felt. Not because I need them.
If you're not liking the way MY story is going, then you're more than WELCOME to stop reading. No one is going to fine you for that or something. Just go and do NOT return. Thanks.

'Sujal Garewal? No, I don't know anyone by that name. So, why does he seem familiar?' Naina's mind raced, but before she could react, the man turned around, a polite smile on his face.
Naina gasped in shock, her breath catching in her throat. Her heart seemed to stop for a moment, skipping a beat as her mind struggled to process what she was seeing. Standing right in front of her, only a few feet away, was the man she thought she would never see again. Her mentor, her soulmate, her husband.
"Rajveer sir?" The stunned whisper slipped from her lips, barely audible, yet it managed to cut through the noise of the crowded room, reaching his ears.
The effect was immediate. Sujal's... no, Rajveer's... body tensed visibly, and the easy smile he had been wearing vanished the moment his eyes fell on her. His face hardened in an instant, transforming from composed calm to something far more intense and raw. His dark, penetrating gaze locked onto hers with a sharp intensity that left no room for doubt. It was him.
For a moment, it felt like the world around them ceased to exist. The elegant ballroom, the crowd of wealthy, chattering guests—all of it faded into a distant blur as the space between them crackled with a tension so thick it was palpable. It was as if they were the only two souls in the room, bound by a past neither could escape.
Naina's breath hitched as she saw how his gaze flicked down to Mahir's possessive grip on her waist, and the sight made Rajveer's jaw tighten. The muscles in his face ticking with barely restrained fury, his eyes darkening with something dangerous, something primal. The intensity of his reaction sent shivers through her, a stark contrast to the composed man Mahir had just introduced moments ago.
It was that instinctive, involuntary reaction—the way his body betrayed his carefully controlled exterior—that confirmed the truth she had already begun to sense. This wasn't Sujal Garewal standing before her.
This was Major Rajveer Singh Shikhawat, her Rajveer.
Naina felt her pulse race, a mixture of shock, disbelief, and something deeper—something she hadn't allowed herself to feel in so long.... Hope. She was feeling hopeful again. In that moment, it didn't matter that they were surrounded by hundreds of people. All she could see was him. The man she thought she'd never see again.
Rajveer's eyes bore into hers with a storm of suppressed emotions—anger, pain, longing. There was no denying it. He had recognized her just as she had recognized him. And just like that, everything between them was laid bare, the invisible thread that connected them pulling tighter, despite the distance of time and circumstance. And yet, this reunion was nothing like she had imagined. The coldness in his eyes, the way he looked at her now, it all felt so foreign, so distant.
Naina's heart twisted painfully in her chest, torn between the shock of seeing him again and the agonizing tension of the situation they found themselves in. Mahir, still oblivious to the turmoil brewing between them, smiled proudly, utterly unaware of the tempest that had just been unleashed.
