*Austin's POV*

He pulled the key out of the egg and gave me a strange look.

"This better not be the key to your heart." He joked.

"Like I said...now the real game begins. You have to figure out what it unlocks. And no, it doesn't unlock my heart."

"So how do I know what it unlocks?"

"That's the whole point of the game. You have twenty four hours. Good luck." I kissed him quickly before getting up and retreating to the kitchen.

Seconds later, I heard him come down the stairs, "Austin! Where the fuck am I supposed to find something that this unlocks?!" He complained.

"That's the whole point of the game, Alan."

"At least give me a hint?"

"Fine. It's in this house."

"Very helpful, Aus. Very fucking helpful."

"Hey, if I told you, it'd be giving it away."

"And that would be fine with me."

I ignored his comment and kissed him quickly, "now go, you're wasting time!"

*Alan's POV*

I walked out of the kitchen, wondering what the hell this damn key opens.

Maybe Aaron knows? I decided to text him and ask.

-Hey, Austin is sending me on this weird scavenger hunt and I have to find something in his house that this key unlocks, and I have 24 hours...help?

I got a text moments later.

-Um..I actually know what you're supposed to be looking for, but I was sworn to secrecy. Same with Phil and Tino.

-Can you at least give me a hint?!

-The key is small, yes?

-Yeah..?

-Too small to be a house key, therefore all the doors are out of the question. It can't be a locked room, but something smaller.

-Like..? Don't stop there.

-Good luck!

Ugh! Well at least that ruled out some things...

I pranced around the house like the kitten I was, trying to find a lock small enough to fit this key.

I started in Austin's room, looking through drawers, pulling clothes out of his closet, pretty much making a mess of his room. Oops...

Meh I'll clean it up later.

I moved on to the bathroom down the hall, searching the cabinet above the sink. Just containers of pills and a couple razor blades.

Wait...

I took the blades and put them in my pocket. We were going to have a long talk after all of this.

I continued searching the bathroom until I came up empty, so I moved downstairs to the living room. I looked under the couch, even pulling the cushions off to look under there. Still nothing. I looked around the shelf that held the TV, through the collection of his many Disney movies, until I came across the two little doors on the bottom. I opened them and found a little wooden box with, you guessed it, a miniature lock holding it closed.

[A/N: Hey guys! Sorry it’s so short, I was writing on my iPod and didn’t realize it until I uploaded it to my computer. Anyway, I'm getting major writer's block and I thought why not let you guys help me. Soooooo what do you think Alan's going to find in the box? Leave your answer in the comments, and I'll mention you in next chapters authors note.]
