*Shay’s POV*

Austin shoved Alan’s phone in my face. “THIS, SHAYLEY!” he screamed at me, “THIS IS WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT! YOU GOT ME DRUNK AND DID THIS TO ME, THEN YOU SENT PICTURES TO ALAN! WHY, THOUGH, THAT’S ALL I’M TRYING TO UNDERSTAND!”

I was on the edge of tears, but I couldn’t snap. Sure, I felt bad about what I did, but I couldn’t admit that. God, I’m such an asshole. “I don’t know what I was thinking, Austin. Maybe it’s cause I couldn’t stand seeing you with Alan, because I loved you. Honestly, after you brought him into the band, I could see you loved him. It took the death of hope to let you go. But then I see him at the club, making out with my ex?! No, that’s what threw me off the edge!” I began losing it, “So then I thought, why not break you two up, and show you both how it feels? Well, it looks like I failed!” The next thing I knew, I was being thrown against the wall. Austin came over, and held my neck tightly.

“I’m so fucking SICK of you, Bourget.” He hissed. He kept his hands on my neck and turned his head to look at Alan. “get out, Alan. I don’t want you to see this.” He spoke calmly.

“no.” Alan replied, a bit shaken up, “I’m staying. I want to see this.”

“Aaron, take him to Starbucks, there’s a twenty on the shelf of my bunk.” After Aaron and Alan had left, Austin turned back to me and Tino and Phil stood behind him. “I can’t believe you right now.” He spat. I struggled to get out of his grasp, but that only earned me a slap across the face.

“WHAT THE HELL MAN!” I yelled, but that just got me thrown to the opposite wall. In all the years I’ve known Austin, I’ve never seen him this pissed off.

“That’s enough, Austin.” Tino stated.

“NO!” he stepped towards me and got ready to throw a punch. Before he could, Tino caught his arm.

“come on, let’s go walk it off. Phil will deal with Shay.” Tino pulled Austin out of the room.

I sighed with relief after they left. I turned to Phil, “what are you going to do?”

“the plan was to drug you, beat you up, and leave you on the side of the road, but I can see you’ve had enough. So let’s just say I followed the plan, you leave, and never contact any of us again.”

“yeah, thanks.” I said, and headed for the front of the bus.

“go through the bathroom window. That way they won’t see you.” he told me.

“kay. Thanks man. I really am sorry this time.” And with that, I climbed through the window, got in my car, and drove straight home.

*Alan’s POV*

Austin threw Shay against the wall and held his neck tightly. He was never this aggressive. “I am so fucking SICK of you, Bourget” he hissed. My eyes went wide. I’ve never seen him like this before; he’s always so loving and caring. Austin turned towards me, keeping his grip on Shay. “get out, Alan.” He said calmly, “I don’t want you to see this.”

“no. I’m staying. I want to see this.” My voice shook.

“Aaron, take him to Starbucks, there’s a twenty on the shelf of my bunk.”

Aaron nodded, and pulled me out of the room. We stopped at Austin’s bunk to get the money, and heard yelling and crashing from the room we just left. I covered my ears; I couldn’t stand listening to Austin act this way.

“come on” Aaron whispered, “let’s get out of here.”

I nodded, and followed him out of the bus. We made our way to Starbucks and I sat down as he got our drinks. As he sat down, I noticed Tino and Austin walk in and join us. Austin sat down next to me after placing a kiss on top of my head.

“What happened? Where’s Shay?” I asked. I then noticed Phil wasn’t there. “where’s Phil?”

“Phil’s back at the bus taking care of Shay.” Austin said, stealing my drink.

My eyes widened for the third time that night, “You didn’t kill him, did you?” I said in a horrified whisper.

“haha, no. I just knocked some sense into him. Phil’s going to drug him and leave him somewhere away from here, so that we’ll be back on the road by the time he wakes up.” Austin explained, handing my drink back to me after chugging half of it.

“oh, well, I’m gonna go back. I’m tired and I’ve had too much excitement for one day.” I told them, then proceeded to finish what was left of my drink before standing up to leave.

Austin stood up and put his jacket on, “I’m coming with you.”
